"I stayed here for three nights with my elderly mom. The home is lovely and very comfortable, with lovely linens, updated bathrooms, and luxurious beds. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped for anything you might want to prepare. This would be an excellent spot for a family with children. The hosts were very responsive and gracious. Above all else, the view is absolutely spectacular. I wish i could wake up to it every day. I hope to go back in the fall when the leaves are changing. Highly...

"Home is filled with character. Plenty of room for my party of four. Back covered porch was the main space we gatheres with full foliage. Kitchen could use some serving bowls for salads and such. Jose was extremely communicative which i greatly appreciated "

"Nice view on the top of the mountain….I admired the river with the bridge and the surroundings until late in the night. The accommodation was excellent, we had everything we needed.… we are thinking of coming back sometime…."

"Great stay to be so close to the lake. Provided plenty of lake accessories so you would need to pack minimal equipment. The pictures are a little deceiving as you are on top of a steep hill with Route 39 (which is busy) between the house and dock. We brought our dogs who are well behaved and stay pretty close. I would be concerned if my dog did not have good recall or young children. However, being situated on top of the hill provides a nice view! "

"it is amazing place ! beautiful and peaceful ...... very secluded everything that you need you could find in the kitchen if you cook for yourself the only suggestion to the owner to change the bed , too soft and you fall in when you lie on it "

"We came to the area to visit NYC and the Harry Potter Enchanted Forest Experience in January. We took the train to the city which is conveniently walkable from the property. This property was in a great location to both destinations. We also tried to see some historical spots in Sleepy Hollow, but due to the time of year everything was closed. We did manage to check out the cemetery. Which was pretty cool to see and recognize some history. The property was very clean and beautifully decorated....

"Gorgeous space with spectacular views of the Hudson river. Super short walk to the both the DIA Beacon and the Metro North Train station. Easy 10-15 minute walk to town for cafes/restaurants or take the free Beacon bus. Excellent restaurants: Had an amazing meal a the Wild and great meal at Momo."

"Perfect, peaceful place for a stop before continuing our journey North. Each check in and check out, with everything needed in the home. The kids loved the foosball table and swing set. Thanks for a clean place to stay and a good night’s sleep."

"Lovely two weeks in the carriage house on the Croton River. Hosts Patrick and Kathryn were attentive and helpful, the area was full of fun adventures for my husband, a cyclist, and me (jogger and kayaker). Swimming in the Croton from the dock was so great, especially on warm days. Kayaking in the Croton was peaceful and full of fun water birds."

"The house and hosts are absolutely incredible! Perfect for large groups or families. The basement adds a massive extra space for hangouts / activities / games without disrupting anyone asleep. House has everything you could want in a lake rental. The private lake area is great being in a cove, only downside of this property is the walk from the house to the steep steps going down to the water which would be tough for olde generations. "

"This condo is located very close to the Garrison train station. It has been designed so that you are never disturbed by the sound of the trains. Really soundproof! There is a beautiful view of West Point across the Hudson River from the balcony and other windows. The kitchen and 2 1/2 bathrooms are modern and well equipped. Matt, the host, has thought of everything when it comes to making his guests feel comfort and st home. The beds were extra comfy and both bedrooms were quite spacious....
