"We had a great stay at the Funky Turtle. The house was clean and just enough space for my family of 5. The house is close to campground bathrooms if the occasional extra bathroom is needed. We enjoyed the fire pit, use of the grill, and sitting on the porch. Our only complaint is about the noise but it was clear from the map that the campground was located near an interstate. "We had an excellent stay with family for our son’s college tournament. We had all age ranges (10 months to 74 yrs old). Very comfortable beds & linens. Love the layout of the home! Having 2 bedrooms on main floor was a bonus & such big bedrooms. Comfortable seating for all of us , plus the bonus college kids that stopped by! You won’t regret staying here!!"

"We had birthdays for two people in our friend group and this place was truly so fit for the celebration! The space is well decorated, well cleaned, and well lit. We had a lot of fun touring the space and jumping between rooms and floors. The walk to rainbow beach was easy to follow. Host is very clear and consistent with communication. They’re very sincere in their efforts to improve the place and make sure there’s no misunderstandings. Truly, thank you so much for your space. We’d love to come...

"We enjoyed our stay. Our young kids enjoyed the bunk beds and playing games in the loft. Appreciate all the beach items available for our use and convenient walk to access Miller Beach. The counter/seating area was not swept but it was a minor oversight overall. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive from booking through checkout. "

"Enjoyed three nights at this property to hike the dunes. Location was good, towards the West side of the park but an easy drive to multiple hikes. Also had the option to walk directly from the house for the Miller Woods trail and Miller Woods Beach. Backyard was great for relaxing after a day of hiking. Grill was easy to use with the hard lined gas and hot tub was clean and enjoyable. If you do bring more than 2 cars, the remote lot is at the Miller train stop about a mile south. Was a bit...

"We recently rented this home for our church's women's fall spiritual retreat. This stay for our group of 21 ladies was more than we expected. "1. Hidden/unclear fees for "additional guests" though we never went over max amount of 10. 2. When first arrived at the house, both doors (outer door, and door access to the house) were wide open. Told host about this, she kept saying only the outer door was open. 3. One of us got locked in the only bathroom available at the house on the first night.
