"You could hear the rain, wind and surf and see the trees blowing like crazy outside. In the yurt, l have never felt so warm, cozy, safe and content. The bed was so comfortable and warm (they use mattress pad heaters). I haven't slept that good in a very long time! There are fans and an electric fireplace. The staff were all friendly and helpful. "Our room had a two person hot tub in it, so we didn't use the hotel pool or hot tub.
As a whole, we had an excellent time and thought that the value for the room was excellent.
The property is older and could probably use some updating, but with updating, I think it will lose some of its charm and likely, all of it's value. It will become just another generic, expensive property on the coast.

"Room was clean, a bit outdated, but the husband and I were there for the view from the balcony, my goal was to sit back and relax and watch the waves. The hot tub was a nice touch and perfect for the evening to soak in and watch the sunset.
Only thing I’d suggest is maybe adding some way to cool the room at night (a fan or small AC unit), granted it was right on the coast but it was still 70 something at 11:00pm, the room stayed hot all night even with the door to the balcony open.
