Dock of The Bay #105 - Oregon Beach Vacations

Welcome to Dock of the Bay #105 located in the historic Taft District of Lincoln City! You'll have an amazing front row seat to the Siletz Bay and the Pacific Ocean from this first floor condo along with close beach access. Stay during the Fourth of July and you won't even need to leave your condo to watch the beautiful fireworks! With one bedroom and one bathroom, up to five guests can comfortably sleep at this vacation rental. The bedroom offers a Queen size bed, queen sleeper sofa, and twin rollaway for guest use in the unit. This home is perfect for a family of five who are just looking for a weekend getaway to the beach! Step outside and you'll find yourself on your own private deck with close beach access just a few strides away! You'll also have plenty to do while staying in this part of town, including visiting Mo's Restaurant, famous for their clam chowder, and Highway 101 Burger, a delicious burger joint right off of Highway 101. You can even whip up your own meal right inside in the kitchen with ingredients you can find at the IGA, just a short walk down the street, also right off of Highway 101. If you're looking for a creative craft project, check out the two glass blowing shops right off of Highway 101 where you can blow your own glass keepsake. Could use work

Great location with bay views! The listing is misleading in that it states its a two bedroom, but it is only a one bedroom with a hideabed in the living room and an extra cot, though there is little room for that. The carpet is old and dirty, and we felt we needed to wear socks and/or shoes while inside. Well stocked with kitchen items which made cooking easy and comfortable.

Great Location and Stay!

We love being right by the water and this was perfect for us. It is any easy walk to the beach and Mo's. If you are a rock hound, Siletz Bay is the place to be. The building is older but a nice place to stay. If you like to cook, the kitchen is well stocked. Thing only item we forgot to bring was a hair dryer since we are used to one being provided.

Not good

No batteries in the remotes, couldn’t cook cuz vent on countertop not working this was suppose to be a Christmas dinner, that never happened because of inoperable equipment!!living room is extremely loud with fireplace open vent, will not stay here again, I should be refunded at least part of my money, will be more careful on who we book with next time.

Sister Getaway

Property was listed as a 2 bdrm, it is a 1 bdrm. The apt. was dirty and smelled. The hideabed in the living room was dirty and uncomfortable. The blankets and sheets were musty and smelled. The bathroom was dirty. The TV in the living room is chained to the wall and at a weird angle. The TV in the bdrm was the size of a small laptop. I contacted the property through email the week before with concerns about the property only being a 1 bdrm and had no response. We decided to stay anyway or lose our money. The apt. is in need of an upgrade or lower the price!!

Awesome location

This condo faces Siltez Bay and is just down the road from the Pier and MO’s restaurant. Amenities include a designated covered parking space, wheelchair height counters, and standard wood fireplace. The owner was flexible. We had to change our visit dates and the process was smooth and quick.

Fun at Lincoln City

We enjoyed our stay here.. The room was right on the harbor with lots of wildlife to see from the room.. The beach was easy to access as was restaurants and grocery store.. I would be happy to stay here again. The condo was well supplied and very clean and covered parking.

Pros: excellent location Cons: It is quite weary. There were stains on drapes and carpet. When we tried to use a vacuum, it produced a cloud of dust. Some drawers are oily and crooked. The burner is also crooked so when frying there is an angle. Everything is very small, even with my 5”1 I felt that I’m a dwarf’s house (fridge, vanity, tables). My husband could reach the ceiling. It is the first floor so someone was stomping on our head all the time. Heating is only in the bedroom and old. So if you turn it on, there is no air left, but another room still stays cold.

Great location, Basic rental house

Basic rental house, came with lots of towels, all the necessities you need for cooking. I appreciate is the easy access to the property and the directions for how to check in and out. The property does stay it’s a two bedroom one bath but they only have a second roll out bed so it’s actually only a one bedroom one bath. So the listing was a little bit deceiving as I was expecting two bedrooms when I got there and there was only one. Upon arrival I did show up to a leaking sink and water on the kitchen floor and maintenance fixed it immediately within two hours of me arriving to the property I appreciate the fast prompt maintenance service. I would recommend this rental if you’re looking for an affordable place in a great location you cannot beat the views and the location of this property. With a few upgrades this property would easily be a five-star property

Great View

The view is excellent. Easy access to the beach either from the steps near our unit or a couple of blocks down the street. Close to Highway 101. Not far from Mo’s restaurant and a small market. Had a great stay. Would book there again.

“Sisters get away”

Over all a comfortable stay for us. It would have been better if there was some written guidelines to refer to such as the heater in the front room doesn’t work so theres a free standing heater in the closet, instructions how to use TV remote (we never did get the TV to work), lighter should be available to light firelog, (we had to buy matches) put coffee filters by coffee pot (we found them hidden in a top shelf when packing up to leave after buying a pack of them) A communications sheet could have helped with these things. Otherwise, comfortable stay for 3 ladies get away.

Disappointing

Rental is full of the worst of things rejected at the thrift store. Knifes falling apart, all dishes and utensils worn out. Mildew smell through and overpowering in the bedroom. Comforter on bed dirty with random crusty spots. Called property manager and he was very nice and helpful and offered another similar rental a block away or reimburse us if not satisfied. The next rental was also outdated, but clean, glad we didn’t have to scramble around at the last minute to find a hotel.

Soiled Bed & Poor follow-through

Arrived to no wi-fi, called to trouble shoot and was told to go outside and just enjoy the day after customer couldn't resolve issue. at 4 pm pulled out roll-away be to find dirty linens full of crumbs, sand and debris. went to remove linens to change and mattress had stains on both sides. Called and asked company to replace mattress so daughter could rest said they would get someone out, waited a hour and called back message service was surprised no one called us but assured us someone was on the way. hour 4 of waiting called again woman on line asked me to hold and again said someone was on the way, 30 min later a woman arrived with air mattress and clean linens and let us know maintenance would pick up soiled mattress in the morning. Well they never did show up the next day. Also noticed the tub non slip stickies were almost black (gross) we refused to use the shower. Both the kitchen and bathroom floors were not mopped, the dining table flaps when lowered had a mini eco-system growing . there's a odd smell when you enter the unit. And the best part absolutely no follow-up or apologies for wasting our Saturday night (It was 10 pm by time air mattress was delivered) or renting us this condo.
