"This is the best room i have stayed in within this kind of setting. I booked a single budget room. It was brilliant. Very large room with a small double bed in it , much better than a single bed. Lovely bedding. Lovely spacious bathroom with fabulous products.no need to bring your own. Great brands of tea, coffee and biscuits. At breakfast i ask ed for mine to be cooked well done however it came back with pale bacon and sausage. All i ate was the egg. However their was lovely berries, greek...

"Beautiful property. Upon retrospect, we probably would have enjoyed booking one of the higher priced room to get the full experience rather than the standard room up on the attic floor."

"The room was clean and the location convenient but it was difficult to find initially. There was no soap in the room or enough toilet roll so it would have been good to have been warned that I would need these. The shower head was broken. There was a kitchenette but an incomplete set of cutlery and limited crockery. At the cost of the room though I would have expected these things to be provided."

"Fairfield house was well situated close to Warkworth and the beach. The hosts were excellent, very attentive with lovely little touches like freshly made cakes left each day and nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous breakfasts. Highly recommend."

"Hotel and room were beautiful. Check-in clerk was friendly and welcoming. Location was completely charming, and the breakfast was very good. We were in suite 7, and therein lies the problem. An hour after checking in and prior to leaving for dinner we discovered our TV didn’t work. We mentioned it to the clerk who said she would have a look while we were out to dinner if that was OK with us. We gratefully agreed and left for dinner. When we returned, the TV still didn’t work and the front desk...
