Sycamore, Cozy get a way! Newly renovated on a private, streamside lot.

Welcome to Sycamore! This newly refinished and decorated ranch home provides you with all the comforts you need. The streamside location (that's Mill Creek, one of the finest trout streams in PA) with private back yard space lets you stretch out and release a little before you go to town! You'll find easy parking and a few steps to the MAIN/BACK/REAR entrance. The rarely used front entrance has 3 steps and can only be open from the inside. You will see as you pull in that the back yard and landscaping are a work in progress! Please don't get your shoes muddy, there is still plenty of space to roam, and I am hoping to create a butterfly and pollinator garden! I have provided a fire ring for your use, however the wood is hit or miss on site. Sheetz sells it in bundles!
If you are looking at this listing, you probably already know a few things about Ligonier, and now you'll have found the perfect spot to enjoy all it has to offer!

Cozy cottage

The house was very clean with new updated appliances, windows, and flooring. The bathroom had two sinks, good water pressure, and all the necessary toiletries. The owner has an eye for detail and everything was just right! Nice outdoor sitting area too! Lovely!

Very Charming Cozy Home

We had a wonderful stay at Sycamore. Itā€™s a charming and cozy home located just minutes from Ligonierā€™s town square. Everything was picture perfect including a well stocked kitchen. My favorite house

We loved this property. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us (2 couples). Very comfortable, cozy and quaint. The kitchen had everything you need, the outside area was great and the location canā€™t be beat. Rick was great to deal with very responsive & accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Little Getaway!

Perfect little house in the woods! Attention to detail was a plus, our hosts truly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable! We were visiting Family in the area and I stayed here with my adult son and his fiancƩe. The house was very clean and beds were comfy to sleep in. It was the perfect place to relax and have alone time after spending long days running around with relatives!

2nd Stay - Still Great!!

This is my 2nd time staying at this property and it is still one of the best VRBO homes I have rented! There were some yard improvements since I was here in July 2023 and everything is looking great. The home is immaculate, has everything you may need and is just a lovely home to stay in - I have family in the area and this is a perfect property for me to come visit them. Really close to so many things to do, easy to get to and find, check in is very easy and Rick is very accessible if you need anything or have any questions or issues. Definitely will be coming back in the future!

Wonderful in ligonier

If looking for a beautiful home away this is a must stay. My girls rode electric scooters in driveway. I enjoyed the bunnies and deer on property. Safe neighborhood. Short drive to ligonier for food, ice cream and bowling or spending the evening in and grilling.

Sycamore retreat

My husband and I booked the Sycamore in order to visit family in the area. The house was incredibly clean and well-appointed. Itā€™s the perfect mix of new upgrades and old house charm. Very quiet and peaceful. Itā€™s a long ride from upstate NY, but we are already looking forward to our next trip in warmer weather. Thank you, Rick!

Excellent stay in Ligonier

Iā€™ve stayed in many a VRBO / "other short stay company whose name is blocked from appearing here". Sycamore is far and away the nicest, most complete and best equipped I have experienced. Highly recommend the hosts - they have thought of everything and are a pleasure to communicate with.
