"Wonderful old-fashioned mansion. Floor to ceiling fabric curtains with liners on all four windows. Gigantic brass framed mirror. Busy little suburb street outside, but nobody’s honking. Can’t wait for breakfast at the bed and breakfast."

"This was the fifth time we stayed at the Blackwell. It has become our favorite hotel in Coeur d’Alene. Everything is easy and convenient. We will stay there as long as we have a reason to go to Idaho. "

"Fantastic gem of a hotel. It’s a historic 3 story house, sort of like a B&B feel. You check yourself in using a code you get prior to arrival and get an actual key for your room (not a card). The first floor is the restaurant which was AMAZING. Such good drinks and the food was so fresh and good, 5 star plating and taste. The room was really cool. Was in room 4, it has a separate bedroom and sitting room. Built in 1908 so yes, you can hear other people walking around in other rooms and stairs...
