"Had a bit of a troublesome start, however things got a lot better including complimentary wine and snacks as apology and free drop to the airport. Room service and check in are bit slow though. Love the location and tasty breakfast buffet."

"The Taj met all of my expectations and way beyond. From the Senior Manager to the Duty Manager Mrs Urva all was splendid. Chu at the spa is an incredible masseuse. I felt extremely relaxed. The gentleman Kishan who serves tea is so effulgent with his smile and loving attitude. I must say my favorite person was Birmal Darnal. He was so animated and made me feel so welcome. Shout out to the housekeeping staff and the restaurant. I love it hete"

"I really was impressed with the JW. The rooms were new, beds comfortable, service was great in most areas like the breakfast area and the concierge. Very helpful and smooth business stay. Just the bar was lacking in service. Great place to stay in Kolkata. 25 min from the airport. My driver Ranjun was great and drove me around to various appointments for the day. He was excellent."
