"The Brownsville Retreat was lovely and easy to get to and from during our excursions out into the area. The kitchen was nicely stocked for light meals. The road noise was more minimal than I expected. Neighbors were quiet and courteous. I would certainly stay here again. "

"The place was nice for what I needed. Overall a good place. Had the essentials and was clean.One thing I do want to note is it was quite stuffy. I tried to open the windows but there were no screens (and lots of bugs/spiderwebs on the windows). The filter on the AC unit needed to be changed, and it smelled a little moldy. The shower also leaked quite badly when I used it. Overall good, but maybe a couple small things to address. "

"This was perfect for a spur of the moment trip, which ours was. Cost was what talked us into this much needed trip. We love National Parks and having Mammoth Cave National Park so close was perfect. Room was a little musty but we turned the A/C down and that disappeared fast. I would suggest making the Two outlets by the bed into the ones that have USB ports with regular plugs. I totally forgot our plugs but had the cords. Other then that it was just what we needed."

"Great place, very clean and had everything we needed. Bedrooms were nice size and beds were very comfortable. I traveled with my adult son and having separate beds/baths was just what we needed. Having a full size kitchen was wonderful and allowed us to eat the majority of meals there."

"Such a cute place! You can tell they put a lot of time and detail into these nice apartments. We stayed here for our trip to Nolin Lake. The drive to the lake took us only about 20 min if that. Not bad at all! Host is super sweet and quick to respond. I think my daughters favorite part was the snacks the host leaves for guests The only thing we were disappointed in was the bed was queen instead of king as listed, but we made it work and it wasnt a big problem. We ate twice at Steak and Stone...
