"We loved our stay at the Americus Hotel! The 1927 Art Deco vibe is absolutely stunning and gives the whole place so much character and charm. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The restaurant was a highlight. Delicious food, beautifully presented, and very reasonably priced. "The hotel is the way it looks on the pictures. Very interesting. Very fun and lot of areas to hang out have lunch. Also, the rooms are as little as they look on the picture. They were very comfortable and we did not need much cause we were only passing by. The room and the showers were very clean. "I had contracted poison ivy before arrival, and only realized when we arrived at the hotel room and I took off my shirt. The staff helped my boyfriend with treatments and suggestions. They were kind and gracious throughout the whole stay. We were sad we were only there for a night. "
