We got there on March 2nd. We had no internet. We informed (owner) and she sent someone, a friend out on Monday. We waited around. The friend called the cable company to come the next day and fix it. We waited. It was fixed. 2 days spend waiting for repair, after the first 5 days with no internet. We told her friend at that time the sewer was backing up into the shower. He said he would tell her. We went about our vacation cleaning the shower and expecting a call from her, never came. So we are patient and continued to not use a lot of water and clean up where ever the sewer would back up. Kitchen sink, shower, toilet. We gave up waiting and I called her myself, it was Friday. She said she would have someone out on Saturday. Well no one came. On Monday we had enough. We left. I then got a text from her saying someone would be out. I guess she expected us to wait around for them. We are the tenants not the landlord. When I asked for a refund she claimed the cost of the place was double what we paid a night and the amount we paid was only for more than 30 days. It didn't say that any where when I reserved the house. She only gave us backaa small amount. We had left on the 18th. Yes it was a scam. She admitted she knew the sewer had problems and probably didn't ever get it repaired. We will never know. I just want to tell everyone. Watch your dollars because you won't get them returned even having to live in a smelly house. If there is anything I can do to get a refund. Please let me know.
