Casa Calista is a lovely 4 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom villa located in a quite residential area of Playa Blanca which can be reached within a 15 minute walk, there is a supermarket 2 minute walk across the road.
The villa is set over 2 floors, on the ground floor, there are 2 bedrooms, the double master bedroom, with en-suite shower/wc, large patio doors leading on the garden/pool area, leading from the hall into the lounge/dining area, with a large dining table and 8 chairs, separate kitchen area.
The second bedroom is a twin bedroom, with en-suite shower/wc
Upstairs the 2nd large double bedroom, with access to the balcony, the 4th bedroom is a twin room, these bedrooms share the family bathroom, with full size bath, overhead shower, basin and toilet.
The outside space is fantastic, with a large heated pool, an additional shallow area ideal as a child's pool, large garden and terrace area with table chairs, sun loungers, BBQ and seating area.
English TV/Wifi available.
Pool Heating charged at Ā£15 Per Day
Prices based on 4 people sharing, extra guests chargeable at Ā£15 per night per person

Excellent property and pool.

The villa was spotlessly clean and well presented. It was ideal for the wife and I and this is our second visit. The pool is well heated and a pleasure to get into. Used it everyday. One small fault, the curtain in the main bedroom by the pool is too thin. A thicker curtain would be excellent. Other than that I recommend this villa.

Schƶnes Haus mit kleinen SchwƤchen

Das Haus ist sehr gerƤumig und der Pool ist super. Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern fĆ¼nf Wochen dort. Der Service vor Ort war hervorragend - alle kleineren MƤngel wurden sofort beseitigt. Das Haus kƶnnte etwas mehr Liebe in Form einer Renovierung vertragen. KĆ¼chenausstattung ist sehr spartanisch. Die Kinder haben den Pool geliebt und wollten gar nicht mehr nach Hause. Rundum ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub. Das Klima ist im November genial. Einzig die aggressiven MĆ¼cken haben uns abends und nachts extrem geƤrgert. Insektengitter fehlen leider.

Lovely holiday but some issues

Villa is very dated and needs some work. Location is on main road which is extremely noisy especially weekends with cars racing up and down and blasting loud music. Locks around villa are hanging off doors but main door and side gate all secure. Neighbour bangs in wall for no reason if she thinks theres any noise at all. Dogs in both properties unfortunately bark a lot sadly. Villa is large and very spacious. Wifi is great. Safe in downstairs bedroom. Pool is great but needs painting and making a bit tidier. Downstairs room next to pool extremely warm and we had fan on constantly as no small windows to open, bar patio doors. En-suite needs ventilation but no windows unfortunately. The agents are exceptionally efficient, quick and fast to act on issues. Walk to Playa is a good 25 minutes, however taxi only ā‚¬4 euros. We found a new path from road further down to harbour, but its a long walk for elder people. There is a small shop opposite caters for everything and the slightly further down road gigantic makro kind of shop. Outside BBQ but we didnā€™t use it.

Das Haus hat eine gute Zimmeraufteilung mit ausreichend groƟen Zimmern und einfachen BƤdern. Der bauliche Zustand ist einheimischen VerhƤltnissen entsprechend mit SchwƤchen, jedoch annehmbar. AuƟer zwei StromausfƤllen wƤhrend unseres 9-tƤgigen Aufenthalts wegen KurzschlĆ¼ssen gab es keine weiteren besonderen Vorkommnissen. Beides Male war der Service sogleich vor Ort und hat beim zweiten Male ein paar Steckdosen und AuƟenlampen so abgeklemmt, dass es von da an keine weiteren AusfƤlle mehr gab. Der Pool ist mit seiner Unterwasserbeleuchtung traumhaft und ausreichend groƟ. Die tags und nachts stƤndig laufende WƤrmepumpe daneben versorgt den Pool auch mit herrlich warmem Wasser. Man sollte sie zuvor hinzubuchen. Der Pool wurde auf Aufforderung hin auch gereinigt, jedoch ist es ratsam sich einen Teppich zurecht zu legen bevor man barfĆ¼ĆŸig in den Pool steigt. In der Luft weht es immer feinen Staub oder Sand herbei und man trƤgt es dann in den Pool. Die Nachbarn waren sehr zurĆ¼ckhaltend und nahezu unbemerkbar, wenn sie denn Ć¼berhaupt da waren. Die StraƟe vor dem Haus ist schwach frequentiert. Zum Haus selbst muss man zunƤchst etwas umstƤndlich anfahren, was allerdings nach dem ersten Mal dann kein Problem ist. GegenĆ¼ber der vierspurigen StraƟe vor dem haus befindet sich ein kleiner Lebensmittelmarkt mit einem eingeschrƤnkten Sortiment fĆ¼r den tƤglichen Bedarf. In der NƤhe befinden sich auch ein Kindergarten sowie eine Schule. An die schrille Schulsirene gewƶhnt man sich schnell.

Fab villa

The villa was great! the best part was the pool, we paid for it to be heated even in June/July and for us it was well worth it. Our 3 year old was in all day and we even had a late night swim around 8/9pm which was amazing. The baby pool section was just perfect allowing our wee one to gain confidence, by the end of the 2 weeks they were jumping in the big pol with no arm bands. Great size kitchen with all amenities. The only downside would be the bathrooms, they could do with updating and having more storage but really how much time do you spend in the bathroom. Overall a great villa and we wouldnt hesitate to return Jodi was amazing from booking right to during our stay.

Decent holiday let

Property was as described, clean condition, some aspects in need of upgrade eg bathrooms, patio door locks, secure safes. Very well equipped. BBQ and outside area good, lounge good. Neighbours take issues with the villa let, we were 4 adults no music, no excessive noise or parties yet they banged on the upstairs wall, the villa is in a residential area, all other persons we met were friendly. It is located next to a main road, 2 rooms were disturbed with the noise but there's no noise at the back when outside. It isn't really overlooked, it's a walled villa. There was an issue with the pool which was very promptly rectified within an hour a pool man visited. Pool is in need of a good clean and some renovation. Airport transfer could not find the villa, address given isn't precise, there are numerous streets named Montanna Roja. The villa as named is much easier to find on Google maps. It's a good 20 mins walk to seafront, supermarket across road is OK, very friendly staff. We would stay at this property again.

Outdoor space great size for a few people staying together

The outside space is great pool size fab Brilliant for a day around the pool for all guests no one on top of each other Villa feels a little tired could do with some love , exterior wise a few coloured pants and a whitewash would make all the difference You go abroad to spend time in the sun outside but on a bad weather day you could only seat 4 people on the two sofas combined could do with extra comfy seating The villa manager Jodie is excellent nothing is too much trouble and replies to any communication in seconds Although the bills did feel like some care was required the price we felt resembled that

Holiday was amazing the villa was great and everyone enjoyed theirselves. It was my five month old grandsons first holiday and it couldnā€™t have gone any better! The short walk to the town was ok even with the pram.

Il s'agit d'une propriĆ©tĆ© bien entretenue avec une belle piscine avec une partie idĆ©ale peu profonde pour des petits enfants. Les 4 chambres sont spacieuses, les 3 salles d'eau sont bienvenues. Nous y avons sĆ©journĆ© durant 14 jours avec 4 adultes et 2 enfants. A noter aussi que Jodie, la propriĆ©taire, s'inquiĆØte vraiment du bien-ĆŖtre de ses hĆ“tes. Nous recommandons vivement cette propriĆ©tĆ©.
