1. Sunny home across from Lake Barkley, fenced yard patio w/grill convenient to LBL

Cadiz

"This house was perfect. Located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, it have just like being at home. It has a well stocked kitchen, many games and things to entertain children, comfortable beds and well stocked bathrooms. It has everything we needed for an almost weeklong stay. John and Julie even provided dog beds for our doggies. It was very dog friendly without any signs of being a dog friendly place (if that makes sense!). The fenced backyard, grill and table & chairs made the outdoor space a...

"Property was even better than I expected. The host was very nice. Home was very clean and had plenty of extras that might be needed. Yard is big and beautiful with an easy, gentle slope to the dock. We loved having a private swimming area off the dock, it was better than the public beaches we went to. It couldn't have been any more perfect for our family. Home was easy to find, close to LBL and a store right down the road. Honestly, this was the best vacation house we've ever stayed in because...

15. Lake Front, Sunrise, Dock, Kayaks + Game Room

Cadiz

"We enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Shores very much. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cookware. However, some of the baking pans should be replaced. Also, if we actually had 10 people staying at one time, there would not have been enough flatware. These are both easy remedies. Having the bed in the basement, came in handy. One drawback for older people is the hilly yard. The house is not too far from golf courses, marinas, Patti's 1880 Settlement, and...

"Our family had a fun trip at this property. The lake was a great way to cool off during a VERY hot week. We had everything we needed to prepare meals, etc. We didn't realize in advance that the dock is shared with a neighboring property. The neighbor is very nice though. Maybe it was due to the extreme heat the week we were there, but the house did have a moisture odor. We got used to it quickly but one of our family members has some lung issues so we were a little concerned about that. Overall...
