"This is a beautiful property and we hope to visit again.Great view of the lake. Loved the hot tub. Excellent propane grill with Blackstone top.We brought our bass boat on the trip. There is a boat ramp and dock, but it is a challenging ramp to use. You need to be excellent at backing a boat trailer to access it. There was not power at the dock to recharge batteries. You can pull the boat back up to the house on the trailer to recharge, bit that is a bit tough. We enjoyed our stay very much and...

"My wife and I made our first visit to Lake Barkley while staying at this wonderful home. Polly is an excellent host and everything about her home was above and beyond expectations. I cannot imagine a more perfect spot on the lake for a relaxing weekend. "

"After our drive, we enjoyed a peaceful walk along Lake Barkley and through the woods around the quaint town. We were greeted with a blue bird and three deer on our walk. Later, we took a short 15-minute drive to Patti’s 1880 Settlement for an amazing dinner. If we had been visiting during the on-season, we would have stopped at Hu-B’s along our walk. "This cabin is very cool. THe view on the water was amazing for sunsets. My family of 6 played cards and appreciated the games there. Amenities are nice. Coffee maker and Keurig both available. We came at a time (October) when many of the restaurants and places seemed to close down because this is a lake town, so restaurants were scarce and had shorter hours, but we found the Burger Barn (delicious) on the lake across the bridge into the LBL, and the next night we drove about 30 min up to Grand...

"We had to cut our stay short because of weather. There is only one road in and out and it can flood. The house was great, the kitchen had all of the amenities expected. We had one issue while there and Denise arranged to take care of it after we were gone. I do want to say the pictures are kind of misleading. We rented this place because all of the pictures made it look like flat land. It is not...there are major steps down the hillside before you get to the ramp that leads to the boat...
