"Beautiful hotel at the outskirts of St. Joseph. Great restaurant, parking, pools and even anchor place for boats arriving for dinner. Modern and well equipped rooms, one of the nicest stays we ever had. Terrific place. This was our second time here and we'd come again."

"Tv not working got a new one but then the cable would keep going out. It's pet friendly but they don't have any place to take your animal to the bathroom. The up side was the staff was really nice and helpful."

"The check in went well and the staff member very helpful and polite. The main part of the room was decently clean, however the bathroom was not. Mildew on the tile grout in a significant portion of the shower walls, and the plastic striping at the outside of the shower separating. Bed was decently comfortable but the fitted sheets were not, and the bottom sheet would not stay in place."

"The room was big and clean. The hallways weren't as clean as the room. The breakfast was good! Our only issue was everytime we came or left there were workers at the doorways smoking and we are both very sensitive to cigarette smoke. We could also smell it in the hallways since they were smoking so close to the doors. We know this is a dedicated smoking area so a suggestion would be to move the smoking area away from the hotel so guests don't have to walk through smoke."

"Room was quiet, bed was comfortable, check in was quick. There was a hole in the ceiling above the shower like something was falling through from up above, but the price reflected imperfection, and that was the only imperfection I noticed. I’d stay there again. It was good for the price."

"I stayed 3 nights in this Red Roof. The checkin was nice and easy with friendly staff. But the room cleaniliness was so bad. I could feel the room and toilet floor dirty. Some flies surrounded me in the toilet. I complained and the next day they cleaned better. But in general the hotel cleanliness needs to improve a lot. The room has basic comfort, nothing impressive. Next time I will think twice."

"Our room reeked of smoke and had the window open and a machine with a water bucket trying to pull the smoke smell out. Gloria was so friendly and tried to help us. But, the room she moved us to did not have a pullout couch like she said. I went back again and explained it did not have the couch so we did not have enough beds. She then told me we could have the connecting room. When I opened it, it had no sheets on the bed and reeked of marijuana. We decided to just stay in the room that didn’t...
