Sip your morning coffee on the wraparound deck as mist lifts off the valley and white-tailed deer wander by below. Red-tailed hawks glide overhead. If you’re lucky, you might spot a fox slipping through the woods or hear the call of barred owls at dusk.

Whether you’re here to slow down or gear up, this cabin makes it easy to do both. Paddleboard on the lake, hike to the top of Chimney Rock, or soar through the trees at Canopy Ridge Zipline — just minutes away. Golfers will love having multiple scenic courses within easy reach, including Bald Mountain, Apple Valley, and Cleghorn Plantation. For equestrian lovers, the world-class Tryon International Equestrian Center is just down the road.

Spend your days birdwatching, biking, wine tasting, or wandering the lakeside shops — and your evenings soaking in the private hot tub under a sky full of stars. Light a fire in the pit and share stories while the forest settles in around you. Inside, the cabin offers an open layout made for connection: gather for meals, challenge the family to ping-pong or pool, or simply relax in the warm wood-accented spaces.

Sleeping arrangements include a king, a queen, two fulls, and a bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and twin on top, which is ideal for families or friends traveling together. And the kitchen’s ready for anything from pancake breakfasts to post-hike feasts.

-Lake Lure is a man-made lake that is drawn down 12 feet each winter season for maintenance. This will impact shorelines. Water will be back up to normal levels in mid-April.
