*** Summer 2025 - Lake Lure Update ***

Per the website www.townoflakelure.com: Lake Use in 2025- Town Council and Town leadership are keenly aware of the importance of reopening the Lake as soon as it is safe to do so. Given the timing of the work that has been completed thus far and the need for ongoing work moving forward, it is extremely unlikely that the Lake will be able to open for the 2025 summer season. (This includes motorized and non-motorized vessels and swimming.) For those of you who have been following our storm recovery process closely, this news may not be a surprise to you. I thought it was important to share this news with you directly. Please note that Town Council and Town leadership will continue to evaluate options for opening the Lake or portions of the Lake and we will continue to keep you informed with any updates as new information becomes available.

Noll House is located within walking distance of the amenities of Rumbling Bald Resort. This budget-friendly home is sure to become your family's hub for gatherings in WNC.

High ceilings are throughout; there are three bedrooms on the main level (1 bedroom with two twins, one with a queen bed, and a large master bedroom). The living room features a large television that rotates and can be seen from the kitchen, the dining room, or the living room. There is a full bath in the hall. There is a comfortable deck off of the dining room with a swing that is sure to please.

The lower level offers a bedroom with a full bed, a lovely little laundry area, a half bath, and a really cool game room with a pool table and air hockey with a large flat-screen TV.

WiFi cable and Internet-based telephones are included.

You will not even have to leave the resort! If you do, the Lake Lure/Chimney Rock area and surrounding communities offer additional activities. See the Amenities and Notes for more information. With all these magazine-worthy home offers, you and your family and/or friends (sorry, no four-legged guests) will surely enjoy your stay at Blue Ridge Sunrise. This home is 9.5 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, 10.5 miles to Chimney Rock State Park, and 19.3 miles to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC).

Great Gathering and Entertainment Spaces This beautiful resort home has four bedrooms and 2.5 full baths and can sleep eight comfortably. Its open floor plan and two levels make it convenient for a family group and equally nice for couples traveling together.

The dining table seats 8, and there is additional seating at the kitchen counter for two more. Get your family and friends cooking together in the functional kitchen, or go out on the patio or screened porch and grill under the stars (the gas grill is near the back entrance for easy cooking near the kitchen).

The lower-level entertainment room has a pool table and more. If you prefer, relax on the deck, enjoy the sounds of nature, and take in the incredible views. With this house, you get even more!

This home is perfect for every season! Spring brings the blooms of dogwood trees and mountain laurel. Visit in the summer when the weather is perfect nearly all the time. The stunning array of colors in autumn is legendary. With the absence of leaves on the trees, winter offers broader views.

AREA WIDE NOTICE: Lake Lure will undergo a drawdown from January 1st, 2025, through the first quarter of 2025(March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet have been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. For more information, click here. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. This will not affect the smaller lakes in the area, only Lake Lure itself.

Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or anytime earlier.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel a confirmed reservation at least 30 days before arrival, there is a $0 cancellation fee. If you cancel within 30 days, there is no refund. Please note that we always recommend purchasing travel insurance/trip interruption insurance to help protect your investment should something unexpected come up. Travel insurance is typically 7% of your total trip cost, and coverage details are available on the checkout page.
