Lakefront House In A Quiet Cove - Kayaks Available

Summary:
PMI Blue Ridge invites you to The Bay Escape. Step out onto the screened porch overlooking the lake and you can almost hear yourself relaxing. This four-bedroom, two-bathroom getaway is situated on Tryon Bay, a sheltered cove on the south side of Lake Lure. There is a dock, and we provide kayaks. The house is within walking distance to The Lake House restaurant (the locals still know it as Larkin's), and the Ingles Market grocery store is less than a mile away.

The Space:
Due to Hurricane Helene, The lake will be closed to all use for the summer of 2025.

Inside, the house is decked out for serious unwinding. There are four bedrooms, including one king-sized bed, two twin beds, and the bunk room that has a bunk bed and a full-sized bed. The remodeled kitchen has a gas range and a variety of pots and pans, with plenty of counter space for preparing your group meals. The full bath on the upper level has been recently remodeled with a large walk-in shower. Everything you will need during your stay is provided, including linens, paper products, soaps and shampoos. All you need to bring is your food, drinks, and a bathing suit**. All the bedrooms are located on the upper floor, leaving the open floor plan on the main level devoted to the important business of relaxation. Just outside the main door is the gas grill.

**Additional note about Lake Lure:
Lake Lure is a town-funded lake that practices sporadic drawdowns. The drawdown of Lake Lure this winter will be from November 1st 2023 to the end of March 2024.
Please be aware that if you book from Nov - April, depending on what the town decides, there could possibly be little to no water in the lake. During drawdowns, kayaks, the canoe, and SUPs will be put away. However - there are plenty of other fantastic activities in the Lake Lure and Chimney Rock area during the winter season!

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the entire home, including all indoor and outdoor areas. Please note that the property requires navigating a few staircases and may not be suitable for individuals with mobility issues.

The Neighborhood:
Located in a serene and rural area, The Bay Escape offers a tranquil setting while still being conveniently close to local attractions. Enjoy the privacy of Tryon Bay and explore the natural beauty of Lake Lure and its surroundings.

Getting Around:
The property is situated on Tryon Bay Circle, a one-way road that meanders around the cove. There is parking available for up to three cars off the road. Nearby attractions include Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure Beach and Water Park, and various hiking trails and scenic drives.

Due to Hurricane Helene, The lake will be closed to all use for the summer of 2025.
Our screened porch with the ceiling fan and outdoor TV is perfect for dining, playing games, napping, or listening to music (and it’s big enough for everyone). The outdoor fire pit by the water is a great spot for enjoying making S’mores and reconnecting. Be sure to head out to the dock for some incredible stargazing.
