Be prepared to FALL in love with this architecturally inspired MOUNTAIN HOME and be Decked Out on the Ridge! Located in Lake Lure and ONLY 6 MINUTES from Chimney Rock! Enjoy the beautiful mountain views from the upper screen porch and lovely deck. This is truly a one of a kind home that features 2 screen porches, 2 outside decks and a private patio from primary bedroom. The kitchen is upgraded with stainless steel appliances and will have everything you'll need! The upper screen porch can be assessed by French Doors leading from the primary bedroom and the living room. On the lower level you will find a full-size bathroom, 2 bedrooms, a family/game room and another screen porch. You will be able to access the lower deck through another set of French Doors. This home is situated on almost 1 full acre with beautiful stone walkways and planter beds. The yard is fenced for your privacy. Pet friendly!

(Same for every home except for yellow highlighted, this needs to be changed and specific for each home)
NC VACATION RENTAL STANDARDS
First, be aware that the North Carolina Vacation Rental Act provides you with certain rights and protections. Second, we would like to make you aware of a few local regulations designed to promote a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY LIMITS: The maximum occupancy limit for this home is 8 persons. You must provide us with the number of people and vehicles in your group. Violation of occupancy rules are grounds for immediate eviction with no refund, and fees will be charged to your credit card to cover any damages.
DESIGNATED PARKING: Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas on the vacation rental property. Parking in the roadway blocking the flow of traffic and parking on neighbor's property without permission are prohibited. There is parking for 3 vehicles at this property. No RV's trailers, campers, or oversized vehicles of any kind.
ACCESS: You will receive directions and access information once we have received a signed rental agreement securing reservation (this agreement will be sent to you for electronic signature) you will also need to provide a copy of your government issued ID to our company with current mailing address and contact information along with vehicle registration of each vehicle that will be at the home during your stay. You will be emailed check-in instructions 24 hours prior to arrival provided you have signed your electronic rental agreement and sent in a copy of your photo ID and vehicle information. If you go to a property prior to approval from our office before check in time you will be accessed an early check-in fee $50.
TRASH DISPOSAL: All household waste & trash must be placed in receptacles considered to be animal proof (e.g., durable with secured lids) when available unless advised otherwise due to increased bear activity.
MINIMUM AGE: You must be at least 25 years of age to reserve a rental property and sign this lease and must also be a guest at the property during the entire term of the stay. You must present a valid government ID at time of check in. If you are not 25, you will NOT be allowed to check in and no refund will be provided.
NO HOUSE PARTIES: We do not accept reservations from sororities, fraternities, spring-break parties, bachelor / bachelorette / wedding parties, graduation parties, or ANY similar groups unless approved at time of reservation. Mr. Lake Lure Vacation Rentals works very closely with local law enforcement to patrol our rental homes, and report to us any occupancy violations. Any violation of this rule mandates you immediately vacate home without refund, regardless of the remaining duration of your reservation.
FIRE PROTECTION FOR YOUR SAFETY: Fire Extinguisher and Evacuation Plan -This home is equipped with working fire extinguishers and a posted evacuation plan. Removing any of these from their designated location is prohibited. Avoid storing items not to block hallways, doorways, steps, entrances and exits. Small Outdoor Fires - When an area burning ban is in effect, bonfires are prohibited. Contact your rental home's property manager for information on any burning bans. Outdoor fires are only permitted in a place and manner approved by the Fire Chief.
LAKE LEVELS: Lake water levels cannot be guaranteed. The Town of Lake Lure may lower the lake below full pond seasonally for dam repairs, sewer upkeep, silt removal, and to allow homeowners the ability to make repairs to docks and sea walls. Periodic lowering might also happen because of flood warnings, heavy rain, or other emergencies observed by the Town. In all these circumstances, the Town of Lake Lure reserves the right to limit use of boats, kayaks, canoes, or other watercraft at any time as it deems necessary.LAKE ACTIVITIES: Swimming: Do not swim farther than 50 feet from shore unless accompanied by an observer in a boat.
FISHING: A North Carolina fishing license is required, and all state fishing regulations apply.
BOATING: If a boat is provided with this rental home, please ask for and review the pamphlet entitled “Lake Regulations & Map”. If you wish to utilize your own boat on the lake, a permit is required and can be obtained at Town Hall or at the town marina.
PERSONAL CONDUCT: Trespassing - Venturing onto a neighboring dock or pier, boat house or property without the owner's permission is prohibited.
NO SMOKING: Smoking, Vaping and Electronic cigarettes are prohibited in all our vacation rental homes. You will be assessed an additional cleaning fee if it is discovered you have been smoking and/or vaping in the home of $500. We ask that all smokers stay a minimum of 10 ft from any open window or door, do not stand near open doors or windows allowing smoke to enter the home while smoking on property. Please make sure butts and ashes are not left behind. Discard the butts and ashes in the outside garbage. Do not throw butts on the ground (including the fire pit) or bring them into the home. If there is any tobacco smell in the home after your departure, there will be a minimum $500 charge. Oil lamps and incense are not permitted due to the long-lasting odor. If these policies are violated, there will be a charge for excessive cleaning.
NOISE: Unreasonably loud noise is prohibited throughout the Town. Please observe quiet hours after 10 p.m. and be aware that sound carries very far over a still lake.
UNRULY BEHAVIOR: Behavior deemed disorderly and causing a disturbance to the public is prohibited. These regulations will be strictly enforced.
SECURITY CAMERA LOCATIONS: Please be advised our homes have forward facing entry area security cameras. We monitor for non-reported pets, over occupancy and number of vehicles.
PETS/ANIMALS: DOG FRIENDLY HOMES: This is a Dog friendly home there will be additional non-refundable pet fee listed. CATS ARE NOT ALLOWED 2-Adult Dogs are allowed with an additional nonrefundable pet fee of $60-$120. Dogs must not be left unattended or must be crated if left at home. Dogs are NOT allowed on the furniture; we ask that you please always pick up after your dogs and be mindful of the neighbors and keep your dogs on a leash.
RENTAL AGREEMENT AND TOTAL BALANCE: You will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement before your reservation is secured. Failure to sign rental agreement with-in 72 hours of booking, will result in cancellation of reservation and forfeiture of deposit. Any monies received by Mr Lake Lure Vacation Rentals for occupancy of vacation property indicated the acceptance of the terms of our vacation rental agreement in full. Your total amount listed on the Mr Lake Lure® Vacation Rental Agreement may be different from the amount paid to the 3rd party site you book through. All third-party sites charge differing amounts as service fees to guests for using their services. We have no control over those fees and do not collect them.
Please read your vacation rental agreement carefully before you begin your vacation. All policies are strictly enforced. It is the responsibility of all guests and members of their party to be familiar with all policies pertaining to rental.
ALL PROPERTIES OFFER AN INITIAL SUPPLY OF THE FOLLOWING AMENITIES:
Including, but not limited to: bed linens and bath towels (2 bath towels and 2 washcloths per Guest, 2 hand towels per bathroom sink), dishwasher detergent (2 loads) and dishwashing soap, new sponge, laundry detergent (2 loads), hand soap, (1 set per bathroom sink, including hotel size: 1 bar of soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner and 1 lotion), paper towels (1 roll), toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom), and garbage bags (2 kitchen bags, plus 2 black bags). If you don't feel this will be adequate for your stay, you will want to stop and pick up more on your way. All properties provide fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, including coffee makers as well as some cooking utensils. Locked pantries and closets are reserved for the use of the Property Owner and are not accessible to Guest. Rearranging furniture or removing any items from the Property is prohibited.
ITEMS YOU WILL/MAY WANT TO BRING FOR YOUR STAY:
Extra folding chairs, beach towels, shampoos/ body soaps, hair dryers, basic cooking condiments, tin foil, plastic wrap, food storage containers, coffee, board games, fishing poles & tackle, floats, life preservers for toddlers/infants, golf clubs.

Late check-outs will be charged the applicable daily rate or $50 per hour, whichever is greater to the credit card on file if the home has not been vacated by 1:00 pm

*** Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, through the first quarter (March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. No personal watercraft will be allowed on the lake during this time. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. For more information about the annual lake drawdown, please contact the Town of Lake Lure.

Time away!

We loved this property. It was perfect for our needs. It was quiet, yet close to town. We hiked at Chimney Rock, swam in Lake Lure, and spent a couple of lazy days at the house. Our teen daughter loved the flowering bridge. The views were gorgeous from the house. We especially enjoyed the upstairs screened in pitch. Thank you!

Such a beautiful place!

We loved the house and it had everything we needed. The area is so cute. We loved the Fae Nectar pub. And both Lake Lure and Chimney Rock were cute little towns. We will definitely be back!

Perfect for our book club!

This place was perfect for our book club group of five women. The house was clean, the furniture was comfortable, the view was fantastic, and a perfect location near Chimney Rock. I have no complaints at all.

Off-season Lake Lure

True to the listing, this home is very well maintained. LOVED the layout with views all around, multiple decks and porches, and a secure, fenced in, back yard. VERY clean. Probably the cleanest home we've every rented. I only drop the overall score because, as much as I wanted to make it a full out 5, the king bed mattress in the main bedroom is definitely in need of replacing. It's not the worst ever but it sorta "slants" and, as with most any foam mattress that's been well used, it's collapsing on the sides. If not for the mattress, it would have been a very enthusiastic 5 star. Would most likely stay here again with that being changed to an absolutely will stay here again if the mattress is replaced. We loved this house. Loved the design elements, found the rest of the furniture very comfortable, and really enjoyed the back yard. Great location, easy to get to, and crazy quiet. Working with Mr Lake Lure was a pleasure. And, again, I can't express enough how impressed we were with how clean it was when we arrived. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Property but Post-Booking Process was Excessive

Beautiful views from the property and great location. We enjoyed family time and exploring the Chimney Rock area for Christmas. The post-booking process was a bit excessive. There were several forms to be filled out which were not all sent at once, and not all expected. We had to provide a lot of personal information, and some forms were required to be filled out within 24 hours with threat of cancellation with no refund. The house also had a lot of warnings/threats posted around which was a bit off-putting. Our stay was still enjoyable though.

Lovely Lake Lure

The pictures don't do the view Justice. The rock faces are constantly changing with the light. The property has beautiful hardwoods and evergreens. The house has ample space and light. We really enjoyed the porches and the decks. The beds were comfortable and linens were nice. We loved being close to the Balding Rock trailhead just down the road. The views are fantastic there as well- great 1.5 loop with some nice ups and bouldering. The property manager communicated well. We had an issue with the dryer not working. They sent someone out as soon as possible to resolve the issue. In addition we were given a discount for days without the dryer. We would love to stay here again!

This was a beautiful place to stay. Was within minutes of downtown lake lure and chimney rock. We had plenty of room and the owner was quick and responsive. We will definitely be returning.

Pictures don’t do it justice. Beautiful. Quiet. Convenient location. Excellent space for 2 families. Loved the screen porches. Serious wildlife. Fence was really great for our 2 dogs. Easy access to house loading and unloading luggage. House is immaculate. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

We love this house as it’s our 2nd time staying here. We did have a concern when our granddaughter had red, itching from bites. Several of us got a few bites and we did report it to rental. They sent someone out to treat for pests this morning before we left.

All decked out was awesome

Our family loved the house all decked out. Plenty of space, comfy beds, perfect yard and location. This is a wonderful house and we would love to rent it again. We really liked the terraced yard, quick walk to the trails, and close proximity to restaurants. Thank you for having us

Great house.

We liked this house very much. We wanted lots of room for 2 people & that’s what we got. The house was very comfortable & in a great location. It was wonderful to sit out on the screened in porch & hear nothing but silence. We would highly recommend this house. I had a little trouble going down the stairs to do our load of wash, but that’s because I’m in my late 70’s. For most people it wouldn’t be an issue. We never left the main floor except for that one trip downstairs.
