"Humble older property, but rooms were solid, clean, newer furnishings, functioned well (4 in our party). Check in wasn't so great at 4:30 p.m. - no staff at desk, waited a bit before seeking help (could hear staff laughing and talking behind the scenes somewhere), and the employee that emerged to check us in was icy and irritable. Our 1-night stay was good enough, but housekeeping knocked on our doors at exactly 11 a.m. as we were rolling suitcases to cars to make sure we were checking out on...

"The Charleston Inn proved to be an excellent place to stay during my time in Hendersonville. The breakfasts and overall service were consistently impressive, and the location—just a short two‑block walk from the downtown area filled with shops and restaurants—made exploring especially convenient. Even with the Garden Jubilee taking place and the weekend being rainy, it was still an enjoyable visit, made better by having such a comfortable and well‑situated place to stay."

Our home was being renovated, and we need somewhere close by that was reasonably priced to stay for a couple of days. The hotel did charge a double deposit because we were “locals”. I was not happy about that, but it was refunded in a few days. The breakfast consisted of waffles only and lukewarm coffee. Fortunately it is located near many fast food restaurants, a Wal-mart, and a grocery store....
