Rob and Sandy are great hosts and took time to show us around the property. They were patient to answer any questions we had, both before and during about the stay. We enjoyed siting by the river amongst the nature and serenity. I definitely recommend people to stay here and won’t miss a chance to rebook with them.

Thanks so much for an amazing stay! We were there 1 night and arrived late, Rob left the lights on and stayed up to ensure we got settled in okay. The airstream is kept in exact condition from the 60s! Highly recommend!

The property was beautiful and peaceful and everything I needed was there… The river was just a quick stroll away and it was safe for swimming and floating and enjoying the weather. The hosts were amazing and checked in to make sure I had everything I needed …it was the perfect place to relax and unwind as there is limited cell service.

Lovely property very close to the river. All our needs were met ,owner is friendly and helpful.Well eqipped Outdoor shower area and outdoor kitchen .Water rafts, deck chairs and shade set up by the water.Airstream is comfortable with one double bed and one table/bed conversion option. Linens and basic kitchen items included,fridge, microwave and indoor toilet and shower. We had zero issues and the boys and I enjoyed our stay. .

Wonderful property and beautiful swimming spot. Kids loved catching crayfish and frogs :)No amenities near by so make sure you bring everything you need (ice for example). Place was pet friendly: owner has a kind dog but worth mentioning if your dog prefers to be left alone.

Rob and Sandy’s place is absolutely amazing! Rob gave us a tour of the property and made us feel so welcome.The airstream was clean and cozy and the property was ideally located on the river - so tranquil and beautiful. We enjoyed picking apples and plums that they shared with us and cooking meals in the outdoor kitchen. We can’t wait to go again.

This accommodation is not only utterly wonderful and unique, but it offers so much nature and space to enjoy on the property. We definitely would want to return to enjoy swimming in the river and chilling on the deck! The BBQ and gas firepit are great addition to the glamping experience!

Wonderful experience

My 8 year daughter and I stayed for 3 nights, our second summer at the Airstream.Very comfortable beds, everything you could need for cooking and dining.Beautiful swimming spot, lots of fun creatures to observe (frogs, snakes, ducks, otters).Lots of privacy and space to read and lay lawn games Also Rob and Sandy are so kind and cheerful!

Blissful stay in paradise

We couldn’t ask for a better stay at Rob and Sandy’s property. It was a tranquil river oasis the weather was beautiful. The setting was incredible. The amenities were fantastic. Best outdoor shower comfiest Bed and just a 10 out of 10 stay

Verblijven in deze airstreamer uit 1965 is voor niet kampeerders een avontuur.Het op maat gemaakte bed ligt fantastich. De plek is fabelachtig mooi vrijwel direct aan de rivier.Natuurlijk voldoet een caravan uit 1965 niet geheel aan de eisen van deze tijd maar de eigenaren blijven het verbeteren zoals de aanleg van een buitendouche en buitenkeuken.

Gorgeous Lakeside Spot, But Security Was a Concern

The lakeside location was absolutely beautiful peaceful, scenic, and perfect for unwinding. The Airstream had charm, the space was too compact for someone tall (6' 1"). It was uncomfortable for moving around or sleeping. My main concern was the inability to lock the door when we were away. The host didn’t provide a key, so we couldn’t secure our belongings when leaving the property, which was unsettling. It’s a great spot for a nature getaway, but having a way to lock up your things would make a big difference in peace of mind.

Rob and Sandy were great hosts. The Airstream was well equipped. Bed was queen size and comfy. The outside kitchen with BBQ was great. The rental was very private and quiet, located on the shores of the river. Our only challenge was poor cell phone service. We would come again. A lovely holiday. Thank you Rob and Sandy.

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful property on the banks of the Cowichan river with lovely flowers in bloom and easy access for a chilly dip in the river! The air stream was very comfortable and warm, everything that I needed for a short getaway.

Beautiful property, Rob showed us around and told us about the history while we walked by the river and through the yards, the camper itself was cozy yet quite functional and we were only there for the night but would definitely return!
