What a wonderful surprise to open the front door to this lovely villa and be stunned by the wonderful view of the Algarve coast line.
The villa was immaculate, well equipped and comfortable. It was east to spend just the day sitting out on the balcony enjoying the views of Luz.
The bed was very comfortable (not always the case in Portugal) and because the bedrooms are on the ground floor with shutters, and there is often a cool breeze at night, we didn't need to use the fans.
We have stayed in other villas here over the years with our children, but this was by far the easiest walk into town, so you don't need a car.
Luz has a variety of wonderful restaurants catering to everyone's taste.
You can catch a taxi to Burgeau or Lagos if you feel like you need a change of scenery, or just spend the day by your own private pool.
It was so good that we plan to return next year.
