"We absolutely loved our stay at The Orchard House Inn! It was lovely and full of charm and character. Just what one would expect from Freeport, Maine! Our room was very comfortable, charming, and welcoming. The shower was a bit small but adequate. We stayed in the "Downstairs King Bedroom" (we called it the Book Room) and the bed was so comfortable! It was our best night's sleep on the entire trip! The healthy complimentary breakfast was very good, which we enjoyed at one of the picnic...

"Host seemed annoyed that we reserved through Expedia. There were only two couples staying in the place and she stuck us both upstairs next to each other. We asked if another room was available but she said that because we reserved through Expedia she couldn’t switch our room. Didn’t make much sense. The place has a lot of character, but we wish the owner was more friendly/welcoming. Also, food was mediocre. It has been much better in past visits here. It’s like we were an annoyance to her this...

"The room was very nice, no desk for laptop and very old fashion room from the 1800's, but Fire TV and nice bed and pool, The wifi was nice, but had issue finding the passcode, I stay above where they had breakfast on 2nd floor. I had to walk a little way from the parking to my room. It was a nice walk to the amusement park/beach area; Taxes are extra they are not including with the price on Expedia, I believe they were $25, it's a nice place if you don't mind walking."
