Cozy apartment about 5 minutes away from the airport. Apartment has a queen size bed with a smart tv and Netflix. A spacious kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and hot and cold water. Bathroom has necessary essentials such as shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, hand soap and towels.
Pick ups and drop offs to the airport or the city can be arranged for a small fee. Also public transport is available around the corner.

We had an early morning flight so decided to stay here rather than rushing and worrying in the morning. The hosts Lillian and her husband were such lovely people and extremely helpful. We ate out locally and theres a well stocked supermarket just round the corner. Lilian organised Mr Chino the local celebrity taxi driver to take us to the airport fist thing and everything was well.organised and we didn't want for anything. Big shower / bathroom, kitchen, air conditioning, wifi, even Netflix! I cant express enough how nice these people were and very hospitable.

It's one room upstairs, not the whole house. Maybe the rest of the house is rented separately, but no one was there while we were. It has a kitchen. The floor was nice the bed was comfy. The shower is stand up with 2 curtains. The renter was communicative. My only picky thing was the shower and faucet water in the bathroom (we did not use the kitchen sink so can't speak on that). But the shower head and bathroom faucet can use better streaming water (it gets all over the place). Otherwise, it was really nice waking up to the sounds of the various birds & it is far enough from the airport that you can't hear the planes.

This property is close to the airport. So it's a great choice if you want to get to the airport quickly. If you are looking for in-town entertainment you need to grab a tax which can be very expensive. You can also take public transportation which cut service about 8 pm at night.

The Studio was lovely and clean. Had all the necessary amenities, Even a large jug of bottled water. Comfortable bed and modern little stove, fridge , coffee maker and Micro. Once I had Lillian on the phone and she clarified the code , door lock box and how to get in( it was complicated because the neighborā€™s music was blastingā€¦ ( until after 10:00).. I should have been told there were lots of stairs(78 yrs old with a big suitcase, carry on and C-Pap machine) no one there to greet me! ā€¦ When , I left the next day, Daniel, the Gardner helped me ( and I tipped him). I walked out to the main road and I did not find a restaurant that I thought I could eat at( lots of Bars and rather dirty looking places). There should be a map and some suggestions as to where to find a clean , safe place to eat. The little patio needs a small table and 2 chairs to sit out for a comfortable coffee time in the AM. AND the room needs a comfy chair so that you donā€™t have to sit on the bed to read at night. The high table and high chairs are nice but not comfortable to sit and read ( I a 5 ft. Tallā€¦ my legs dangle and do not reach the rungs) Last but not leastā€¦ the pillow sham stitching was coming undone ( torn) so I sewed it. You might want to check all the pillow cases. I will come back as I did feel safe

Great little house and very close to the airport. The host went above and beyond with communication and recommended lots of local places to eat and fun experiences. This was a great spot, and we would highly recommend it.

This listing really lives up to its name and provided exactly what we needed. Landing at Philip Goldson airport after dark, I just wanted to pick up the rental car and settle in till daylight. The place was clean, secure, and quiet and I wouldnā€™t hesitate to book it when my travels bring me back to Belize.

I will stay there again. I had a hard time finding a store/restaurant open, there are sometimes street vendors who have decent food. Super close to the airport. Which is a positive note.

Convenient and Quiet

The location was close to the airport in a quiet residential neighborhood. Itā€™s quite far from restaurants and stores so be prepared! It was a comfortable apartment and a short drive to the airport. We enjoyed a nice afternoon walk in the neighborhood; families were out strolling too and enjoying some backyard barbecues!!

The unit itself was nice. It was equipped with a small kitchenette in addition to the bed and bathroom. It was up to date. We stayed on a Sunday evening and we couldn't find any restaurants or even street vendors within walking distance that were open. The same was true for breakfast the next morning. This is fairly close to the airport. The host provided us with the name of a reputable taxi driver who arrived promptly and got us safely to the airport. This is primarily a residential area.

Great stay, just as advertised

This was a great rental for my short stay in Belize! If you are looking to stay outside of the main city, near the airport, or experience something closer to living in the local community instead of at a resort, this is a fantastic option. There are several safety measures in place (gate with lock, multiple door locks, inside lock access, ect.) that make you feel secure. The host was very helpful with consistent communication, and had great suggestions for local food.

I wish all the hosts were as great as Lilian. She made the check in and out process extremely easy and she helped us get a last minute can ride. I wish we were able to stay longer. A humble space with a full kitchen! This is such a find with a great host!

Looked a bit run down from outside but the studio inside was great. We couldnā€™t find the place - needs a big house number on the gate!!!! Felt safe and had a good rest. The lockbox is tricky to open - cover needs a screw or something you can grab to lift it. Now that we know the procedure, when we stay again at the end of our trip we will be less stressed! know what
