"Unknown to us, this hotel canceled the reservation we had made through Expedia. At check-in they told us we didn’t have a reservation and they were full and had no room for us. This left us stranded in an area with very little lodging options (few properties and all had no vacancy). The gal at the front desk was unapologetic and lied telling us it was Expedia’s fault and that “Expedia has been doing this a lot and cancelling rooms”. This was not true.
