"This multi-level house/cabin works well for family and friends to gather on the island. Lots of room inside and outside for potluck dinners and game nights. The basement 2br apartment was especially nice for our son's family with a toddler. The kitchen is well equipped and has excellent appliances. Claire was a great host and responded immediately to all questions. There is excellent storage and lots of refrigerator and freezer space for your island stay, "

"In a great location for easy access to restaurants and shops. Good location for an easy 10 minute drive to the State Park and Town Park. Accommodations were comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed. The outside seating under the deck was a huge plus for extra space to get outdoors even in the rain. Would highly recommend this location and host. "

"We rented the 4 bedroom suite which is a great place for a large group. There were plenty of towels and other supplies. The location is great and able to walk to everything in town. It was a bonus to have balconies off 2 of the bedrooms. The bunk beds were adult sized and comfortable. We have stayed here multiple times and would definitely recommend to others."

"Private beach was excellent. We had such a good time playing in the water. Housing was comfortable. Kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with what we needed. Problem was finding the place. The address cannot be seen from the road because covered in vegetation. Also the communication with owner and with Vrbo was frustrating and for the most part nonexistent. We had such a great time that the problems now seem insignificant. "

"We have a long history of spending Labor Day weekend on the Island and have stayed at many of the notable VRBO’s here . This is an outstanding property and my personal favorite . My husband and I spent a total of 8 wonderful nights here with our 3 adult children , their spouses , and 4 of my 5 grandchildren ages 2-9 .We utilized all of the sleeping spaces with the exception of the reading nook. "The house worked out great for us. We went over to the town park several times and enjoyed the fire pit (calling to check the local fire safety status was new to me but understandable, especially given the amount of wildfires in MN/Canada).It is definitely quieter on the north side of the island which was just right for us. Thanks for letting us use the place!"

"Everything was great. Check-in was smooth with Larry giving us an overview of how everything works. Kitchen was was well appointed (bring your own spices)Knives could use some sharpening. "It is a corner unit with 4 windows. It provides plenty of natural light. I enjoyed that a lot. We were not lucky with the weather and had to stay inside more than anticipated. But it was so cozy, bright and clean. I liked to snuggle in the chair with hot tea. The unit is very nicely decorated. The bedding sheets and blanket was so soft and warm. Bed was little too soft for my taste. The Internet was fast. I would definitely come back. Ps. It would be great if there was a small vacuum cleaner and...
