"I’m a regular here since I work in the area and my commute home is sometimes too much for me after I complete my shifts. My stay is usually great but this time around I was very disappointed. The noise in the hotel was unbearable. Neighbors playing loud music, kids running in the hallway and fire alarm going off. Breakfast area not cleaned as often (floors and tables). I’m hoping this was just a one time thing because I really like this location."

"My first non-smoking room smelled very strongly of smoke. (Why do people smoke in non-smoking rooms??) The woman at the front desk was so kind and helpful throughout my stay and moved me to a different room. Second room was okay, a little run down but it was clean enough and the AC worked. There is a waffle maker at breakfast, which is fun, but the rest of the spread is very basic--however, free coffee, so I won't complain! The pool looked nice. "This is a lovely bed and breakfast directly across from the Vanderbilt estate, close to FDR library and Culinary institute of Art. The owners are delightful and provide delicious breakfast and helpful tips for sightseeing. Highly recommend."
