The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the front desk staff and one of the gentlemen providing the breakfast service. The hotel is beautiful and warm and inviting. The hotel room was spacious. The hotel is close to shopping and eateries. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 was the lack of housekeeping service. It was supposed to be every other day and on the 3 day no one came so I requested the room to be cleaned and asked the front desk personnel twice and plus a housekeeping personnel. We took time to prepare for the cleaning and took our dogs out for hours and came back and the room still hadn't been cleaned. Then I had to take time to speak with two other people to get the room cleaned. It rained that following day and we had to take our dogs out in the rain for the room to be cleaned. It put a damper on our vacation getting bathroom tissue and other essentials from the front desk and throwing out the garbage, because of the lack of housekeeping and then having to plan for housekeeping on a rainy day and having to speak with four people to get it done. That part didn't feel like a vacation.
Outside of that it was a great stay and I would recommend it.
