"Exellent resort right on the lake/dam side. We really enjoyed to chill out here for a 2 days break during our motorcycle ride in Sri lanka. Staff and and food were top notch. The resort offer a complimentary boat trip on the lake in the morning. The area is very peaceful as no boats with engines are allowed. The water is very clean and we saw no plastic or rubbish. "Surrounded by beautiful rice fields, wilderness and Peacocks this is an ideal place for who seeks a secure place for rest and respite. The hotel staff was amazingly nice and ready help. Those who travel from East like Trincomalee or Arugambay this would be an ideal rest stop. My meals by a la carte were delicious. Special thank to Food and Beverage Manager (sorry forgot the name) for his recommendations. "

It s located well outside Kandy and which was great after the visit of Kandy town with all the traffic and noises. Coming back to the hotel was so relaxing . The room is quite big and very clean. The drive up was pretty intense as it’s out the way, so we didn’t spend loads of time in the accommodation but wow the views were incredible morning & evening looking out to the river!! Food was nice, staff very friendly. They had dogs on site which were very friendly also. Can be very noisy throughout the night with dogs howling and birds."
