The Space:

Enjoy the unobstructed ocean views of Southern Kauai from the lawn-access lanai of Poipu Shores 102A!  Listen to the soothing sounds of the waves breaking on the rocks just feet below while you enjoy your morning coffee in the morning or evening drink to watch the sunset.  Watch the Honu (turtles), dolphins and whales play just off the coast without even stepping out the front door!



Wonderful ground floor unit -- enjoy the Kauai trade winds and ground floor access to the lawn with views up and down the coast. AC makes for a comfortable atmosphere even if the winds stop blowing!  This first-floor condo has direct lawn access to spread out and enjoy - adding to the useable space of the unit. There is an elevator from the parking lot level to the front door.  There is also a ramp connecting the parking lot to the walkway to the front door. 



A 10-minute walk in either direction takes you to Brennecke`s Beach & Poipu Beach to the west or Shipwreck Beach & the Grand Hyatt to the east.  On-site pool open to all guests and BBQ facilities just steps from the front door. World-class dining and shopping and restaurants are just a short 3 minute drive away!

Purchase a pass to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club! Passes are valid for 1 week and cover up to 5 people for $100. Additional people can be added to the guest pass at the club. When you book, just request access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club and we can add it after the reservation is complete.



Note: the PBAC pass covers the entrance to the pool, fitness center, tennis courts, and facilities, but does not include the cost of personal trainers or other fitness classes. These additional services can be purchased through the Poipu Beach Athletic Club at the time of the services.

We had a fantastic stay at Poipu Shores, condo 102A. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked and we cooked almost all of our meals there to avoid eating out. It was so nice being on the ground level, just a few steps from the amazing saltwater pool. And looking out at sea turtles and pods of dolphins would never get old. Thanks for an amazing accommodation and a great vacation!

Perfect Poipu location

Best part of visit to Kauai was our VRBO rental right on the edge of the ocean water. We had breakfast on the patio every day seeing sea turtles and stunning wave crashes.

Stunning views and great neighbors. Facility was well kept and spacious for one or two couples. Short walks to beaches, health cub and a few restaurants. We would recommend this location without hesitation.

Great Condo with Great Accommodations!

What a great condo! 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms full kitchen, washer/dryer everything needed for beach activities and beautiful Hawaiian decor. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch eating meals enjoying the ocean and sea turtles swimming everywhere. Walk to the beach and food super close!

Perfect getaway

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Poipu Shores. The ground level had breathtaking views with steps to the pool. The pool was warm and not crowded at all ever. The condo had everything we could ever need. Every utensil, pot, pan, dish. Hair dryers, laundry pods, lotion, body wash, etc. It also had 2 boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella and floaties for the water that my kids loved. The company was so easy to work with and responded quickly to my questions. I would definately come back.

Incredible Vacation

We were extremely happy with our stay. The location was perfect. It was incredibly clean and extremely organized. The unit had everything you could think of including beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, any kitchen item you would ever need. We were really impressed with the ease of our stay and the communication prior to check in, follow up with any questions, as well as a check in when we arrived. We would highly recommend this location to anyone. We had an incredible vacation!

Great place

So many positive things to say about the unit we stayed in. The sounds of the ocean, didn’t need to purchase spices for cooking, lots of different small kitchen appliances, only 2 negatives which the resort really had no control over-no hot tub , but a nice plunge pool with lots of opportunities to view sea turtles from. And the upstairs neighbor let their kids scream 24/7 until I left a polite note one their door to please lower the volume between 10:00 at night and 7:00 in the morning. The kids, BTW were between 4 & 7 years old and definitely should have known better

Loved property for many different aspects. My family thought ability to go to high end gym was a big plus. My son loved the grassy area outside condo where he could practice his soccer and chipping. I loved that pool was just steps away. Great that beach was so close and had easy access through locked gate. Really appreciated all the pre-travel emails and texts to keep me on task and know about cool activities and restaurants. They were not kidding about parking being right. I rented a smaller sized car and still struggled to park. We never did figure out AC remotes so would just snuggle under blankets for family movie nights. Did not want to bother people to ask about this. Overall, great condo and rental experience!

My wife and family stayed here while I was at a nearby conference. The property is well taken care of and very conveniently located. The view from the pool--including sea turtles in the surf--is unparalleled. Highly recommend!

5 STARS! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! We would highly recommend ! The property was very clean, comfortable and in an awesome location. The beach and boogie boarding a 2 minute walk and the pool right on the ocean. We could view the waves and turtles right from our unit. We plan on booking our next visit for next year here! Fantastic Time

This place was a gem - perfectly situated near Poipu. Could walk to Poipu Beach and Puke dog easily. Ground floor unit is a huge plus - just steps to pool and the view is phenomenal. Truly ocean front. The place had everything we could have needed and then some. Will definitely return here. Thanks!!

Perfect Stay

Great condo unit. Very clean. Can hear the waves crashing. Saw dolphins, whales, and turtles from the sliding doors, which open out to the grass. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again.

View, view, view!

The view from this unit was amazing. The first 2 days of our trip were quite rainy so we appreciated being able to sit on our patio and still enjoy a beautiful view. The patio furniture was rather uncomfortable. The chairs feel as if you are being pushed forward and they have a padding that is too big for the chair so you sort of feel like you are falling out of it. The beach chairs are more comfortable, use those instead. Just like the other reviews said, the unit had everything you could need or want in a kitchen. The parking lot was quite tight, the reviews are not exaggerated. Our friend's vehicle was hit by another vehicle while the other driver was attempting to back out. Thankfully it did not cause significant damage. The unit could use some new bed covers. They all had stains. I texted the company and they assured me that they were all fresh and had been cleaned. The master bedroom's blanket was the worst, the top of the blanket that would be near your face looked like it had just been used. The pillow cases started to slip off some of the pillows and you could see that some of them were quite stained up and not very sanitary looking. The unit would benefit from zippered allergy cases and then pillow cases over the top. Aside from that, the master bed and even the pull out bed were quite comfortable. The unit had boogie boards, lounge chairs, beach toys etc. Overall it was a nice unit and had a lot of extras in it. It did not have binoculars though so don't forget to pack some if you Iike a closer look of the whales.

Amazing

Such an amazing location. Great for the family. Loved having A/C in the bedrooms and living room. The only thing missing from making this stay absolutely perfect would have been a wagon to trek all our gear back and forth from the beach and binoculars to get a better view of all the whales that we saw. Would definitely stay here again.

Well furnished unit but

The prior reviews are extremely accurate in that the unit is in a perfect location and super, well stocked. By far, the best stocked unit every stayed in worldwide. Kitchen appliances are new and there is both a Keurig and regular coffee maker. The issue is the cleanliness. Housekeepers were there and not dusty BUT grime, streaks on all the glass furniture, living room wall, etc. We bought Windex and it helped but the unit needs a good deep cleaning. We also asked for twin beds to be put together and this didn't occur. The twin beds are very uncomfortably hard. The primary bedroom with a king bed is super comfortable. There are three A/C units: one in living room, and one in each bedroom. Difficult to figure out and there were no instructions. Additionally, the unit just smelled musty the entire time - from A/C units? Or prior renters leaving went beach equipment in the closets? Additionally, the unit was over 100 degrees when we arrived and didn't cool down until next day. But the ceiling fans work very well. TV and internet are perfect. Complex is old but lovely pool (heated at a nice temp). Parking is available but spots are super small! We had a Nissan Sentra 4-door and had trouble. Liked the unit for the ability to walk to the beach but not sure I would stay there again due to the musty smell, cleaning, and the second bedroom mattress are not great. Also dining, living and patio furniture are dated but in nice condition.

Poolside Paradise (No Chickens Allowed!)

Really, just see the review from Davis H. but I'll specifically call out: - Host was wonderfully responsive. - Proximity to pool was the best. - A/C worked great (once I figured out how to work it). - Kitchen was amazing. - Having an individual, secured wi-fi network is essential. I would never use a shared/open network. - No chickens. Seriously. You will appreciate this!

This condo had everything a family of 6 could possibly need to enjoy themselves in Hawaii. Here is a list of everything we loved: - A fully-stocked kitchen (and I really mean it. They have more kitchen gadgets than I have at home) - High-end appliances - A few coolers of different sizes - Seasonings for cooking - Olive oil for cooking - Only 20 feet from a heated pool. This was one of our favorite places to hang out. Sunrise and sunset were amazing and you could always see turtles in the ocean below the pool. - Air conditioning! - Plenty of TVs for the family to spread out and relax - Plenty of linens - Washer and dryer were life savers - We never ran out of hot water with a family of 6 - They have two Wi-Fi networks you can use for internet. Wi-Fi for the condo complex and Wi-Fi that is specific to this condo. The Wi-Fi for the condo got around 25mbps, usually. The Wi-Fi for the condo was 300mbps. Plenty of bandwidth for anything you could throw at it. - Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, snorkeling gear (including fins), boogie boards, and sand toys - The view from the back lanai. Beautiful. - Only a 5 minute walk to Brennecke's Beach - The complex-owned grills were clean and new and close to the condo - USB chargers EVERYWHERE Dislikes: - One TV died when we were there. I'm sure it will be replaced soon, but it was kind of a bummer. - The table on the lanai was cute, but uncomfortable to set at - The parking is crazy squishy. Seriously.

We had an amazing stay in Poipu! The unit was clean and comfortable. The best part was the ocean being so close and hearing the waves crash into the rocks. We slept like babies! The worst part about this property was having to leave. Can’t wait to visit again!
