This wonderful one-bedroom condo is on the third floor and has a beautiful view of the shoreline, ocean and Prince Kuhio Park. Lounge on your lanai to take in the fabulous sights and delightful fragrances of the Garden Island. This is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or a cool beverage any time.

This comfortable condo has all the conveniences of home including a fully equipped kitchen. Just across the road is an excellent snorkeling beach which is also popular for swimming and gives you a front-row seat for watching famous Poipu sunsets.

Have a refreshing swim or just rest by the pool to sounds of a nearby waterfall. Experience true relaxation in this setting surrounded by a tropical garden of native and exotic plants. An outside BBQ area complete with picnic tables is available for grilling your favorite recipes and, of course, your fully equipped kitchen makes meal preparation easy. When you decide to dine out, you can choose from a wide variety of outstanding restaurants in Poipu. Prince Kuhio #320 is a great place to stay while enjoying the lovely island of Kauai.

We stayed the first week of December. The location is just a few minutes drive to Poipu Beach and walking distance to a few restaurants. The hosts offered several extra amenities like beach chairs. The unit was dated, but that was expected based on the photos. The first two days and nights, there was no breeze so it was quite hot in the unit, but there was a box fan, so we managed at night and were out of the unit most of the day - I only mention this because if you plan to spend a lot of time in the unit during the day, or if you're sensitive to heat, this could be an issue if the conditions are the same. The other two nights we were there had a great breeze and it was very comfortable.

The view from this condo is rare for the area because it’s next to a historic park with no development which gives this building an expansive view of both sea and mountains. The condo was very clean and nice. Working with the property management company was very easy.

Such a great location with view to the ocean from balcony or bed. Over the road is a snorkelling beach. Had a washing machine and dryer in condo which I would normally not note but stayed at a few other condos that said had washing machine / dryer but they were in a seperate laundry room on property. Poipu is very central to see many of the islands key sights but if all you are after is nice beach more beautiful in north of island.

Perfect for honeymoon on a budget

My husband and I stayed here for our first time in Kauai, and it was exactly what I expected if not even better! No AC but it's not even needed with the ocean breeze you get, our room had an awesome view with the ocean to our right so close you could hear the waves and I loved the garden path right outside our door. I would recommend this to a friend, only downside was I didn't receive a check in email even in my spam. Luckily there was an emergency line I called because my flight got in late where she told me to pick up the key in the lihue office (which was a 20 min drive from the room) that process was a little strange but still worked out okay!

Great location; would definitely return

This is a very nice unit in a great location. There are spectacular sunsets at the beach across the street and beautiful sunrises from the balcony outside the bedroom. It's close to the Poipu beaches, dining and shopping but not in the middle of all the crowds. At first glance, the layout of the unit looks a bit odd and a little dated, but it works very well, has plenty of space and is very comfortable. The balcony is a perfect place to relax and watch the ocean or have a peaceful dinner (fresh fish from a local fisherman in Waimea). Beach chairs and an umbrella (new) are provided as well as other beach equipment. There is a nice pool, and the garden landscaping is beautiful. Plenty of parking with the garage next door. This is an excellent choice for a stay in Kauai.

Perfect in Every Way!

We were so happy with our stay. The location is absolutely beautiful, with bonus sunset across the road each evening. The location is convenient in every way … beaches across the road and each direction. We explored the entire island and the drive to each end of the road was beautiful and we enjoyed beach stops. The snorkeling here is great. The condo is clean throughout and we really enjoyed the balcony. The island is packed with their local roosters and you’ll wake to the ocean and them talking each morning. We’ll be back!

Million dollar views

We were on the 3rd floor and the view of the grounds and monument out the bedroom glass doors was incredible. The ocean view was amazing out on the balcony and could be seen while lying in bed. Love to wake up to the sound of the ocean waves crashing onto the shore. The bed was really comfortable and the condo had everything we needed. The bathroom is a bit out dated, but it works well and the place was nicely stocked with everything needed for a nice stay. The lunch bag and reusable grocery bag was such a thoughtful touch. Management was readily available and checking in and out was very easy. We would definitely book here again.

Vacation with Friends

We met our friends from Colorado at Prince Kuhio. We've stayed in Prince Kuhio 7 other times, but we've always been on the first floor. This time we rented unit 320 and we absolutely loved it! The view, it was more quiet, and the space was well stocked and beautifully decorated. Everything couldn't have been more perfect. The only disappointment was that we had no internet. No matter what we did, we could not get the modem to work.

Very good location, best snorkeling on island right across street. Snorkel on the left side of the resort to see lots of big turtles but have to go in on the rocks to enter water on that side, worth it. View out the balcony on the 3rd floor is really nice it overlooks prince kuhio park and the ocean as well. Condo was stocked very well had everything you can imagine, beach chairs, snorkels and masks, hiking poles. Condo is older and could use a bit of updating, but bed is great and all in all not much to complain about.

Location!

As previously stated, unit is a bit tired, but still very nice. The bed, in fact, was the best I slept in during a 15 day/5 VRBO trip. The pic of the ocean doesn't do the actual view justice. I think they want to minimize the fact that the balconies are very close to each other with no privacy wall. So, to be clear, the view is excellent. Be prepared for two things - roosters right near you that begin their crowing very early, and a permanent neighbor who likes to socialize when you are on the lanai. All that said, the best part of this property is the location just 100 yards from the absolute best snorkeling off a beach on the island. Next to the beach is a beautiful grass lawn to sit with your beverage and watch the sunsets and surfers. We'd book again.

Ideal Location

This property is well situated with an on-site swimming pool, walking distance to the ocean and surfing, and a park right alongside of the apartments. Perfectly ideal to experience all of the beauty of Kauai!

Incredible!

Our stay was everything and more. The property is incredible, from the pool to the BBQs and accesible parking. The unit was clean and had all of the amenities we needed, including a beach umbrella and chairs! Loved everything.

Great location for somewhat dated condo

This condo is a nice size with wi-fi, tv, in unit laundry and complete kitchen. We had to get our own oil, salt, etc but everything is a short walk or drive away. It is a 1 minute walk to Beach House so we ended up at their happy hour more often than not, and the best snorkeling on the island is also steps away. The common areas for the condos are really well kept and beautiful and lush. No A/C, but we were able to open all the windows and get a nice breeze with the fan circulating, too.

A little disappointed

Location was great but our unit had a number of small problems that we had to have fixed, including the washing machine that ran the whole cycle without agitating. Next time we would stay somewhere where we wouldn't have to tell someone what we needed done and then not have them relay problems accurately to the repair person.

Snorkeling at your doorstep

Perfect location and with easy access to everything we needed. Enjoyed the short stroll to the beach at Prince Kuhio where we were able to snorkel and the pool that was in the complex. While there is no AC, the unit being on the top floor has very good ventilation. I would thoroughly recommend this unit, and would definitely stay here again if I am fortunate to return to Kauai.

The location is great because it’s easy access to good beaches, east parts of the island, and hiking in the west. Lost convenient beach supplies like chairs, snorkel gear (but only on pair of broken flippers), and towels. Overall, we’d recommend!

Great little getaway!

Very nice unit with a wonderful cross-breeze from the ocean through the apartment, which has been well appointed with useful items throughout (kitchen, bath, beach gear, etc.). We immediately felt like we were "home."
