Beach Place Duplex, Enjoy Ocean & Lush Garden Views - Poipu Beach Park

The Beach Place Duplex -- for people who love the ocean and beaches. Rent the main floor of this beautiful home in sunny Poipu Beach. It is across the street, just 100 feet, to Brennecke's Beach, a popular body surfing beach. Poipu Beach Park, a great family-friendly beach, is next to Brennecke's Beach and has a life guard. There is a protected part of the beach that's great for snorkeling and beginning swimmers.

Watch the dolphins and sea turtles from your own garden terrace or take a three-minute walk to the ocean to some of the best swimming and snorkeling on Kauai. During the winter months, you may see humpback whales playing off shore. That's an awesome sight!

There are a number of excellent restaurants nearby and several are close enough to walk to. If you feel like dining at home, you may want to check out Kauai's Sunshine Markets for fresh produce to go with your favorite entree. Maybe you'd like to grill some fresh island fish on the barbecue . . . lots to choose from.

Activities nearby: Seasonal swimming, snorkeling, surfing, scuba diving, horseback riding, botanical garden tours, sightseeing, shopping and tennis. Two championship golf courses, Kiahuna Golf Club and Poipu Bay Resort Course, both designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., are within a mile.

Incredible beach destination

The location is amazing directly across from the beach. Boogey boarding, snorkling, great places to eat are all an easy walk from the beach place. Montgomery is such a special person and a gracious host. We hope to be back on our next anniversary.

The picture doesn't do justice for this property. Definitely be back.

This is a very sweet spot for sure. No other words can describe! The owner Mr. Montgomery welcomed us and has been very responsive. He gave us ripe bananas. Such a hospitable, neighborly spirit. Not to mention, the beach is literally steps away from the doorstep. Will definitely be back! That should tell readers something and we love thr owner.

Great location, you won’t be disappointed!

Walk across the street to the beach. Rinse off in an outdoor shower. This place was very convenient, more private than a resort. Stocked with all the beach gear you may need. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Took great walks along the beach and coast, saw green turtles each evening and some monk seals as well. Sunrises and sunsets across the street. Sleep with the sound of the ocean. Enjoy your stay!

Amazing location and very comfortable house

This is our 2nd stay at the beach house. The location can’t be beat. Literally steps to the beach. Walk across the street to the beach with your morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. All the comforts of home. Love hearing the surf crashing. Outdoor shower is fabulous. It isn’t fancy but it is very comfortable with everything you need for a great vacation

Dream location and property!

Location, location, location! We have stayed at other properties in Poipu, but this is our favorite so far. Beautiful and clean home and my kids loved playing in the yard. It had everything we needed! Very well kept. We are so grateful and cannot wait to come back!

The most amazing place!

If you go to Kaui you HAVE to stay here! It's a paradise house on a paradise island. The place is so clean (so is Kauai, no litter), you hear the ocean and it's like right in your room! You hear the roosters in the early morning and that will wake you up but you won't mind because if you get up around 5am go to Poipu Beach and watch the sea turtles resting on the beach getting ready to go out on their voyage and go to Poipu Beach around 7pm and watch them come in at sunset. It does get more crowed in the evening versus the morning. The owner lives upstairs and is so nice. He brought us on several occasions limes from his Tahitan lime tree for our margaritas. The outside shower is highly encouraged to be used for your daily shower as the septics are small. It was so amazing taking a nightly shower in nature after a long day at the beach. I was worried about no AC being from the south but it was no problem. There is no place on Kauai we will stay but here!

The property is just perfect. Accommodations are comfortable with fully equipped kitchen. Extra outdoor hot and cold shower for rinsing off the beach which is literally steps from the property. Property had beach chairs and boogie boards which we thought we’d have to rent. We could not have been more pleased. Would definitely stay there again. Loved hearing the constant crash of the waves as I drifted off to sleep.

Perfect in every way!

The house is just feet from the beach and you hear waves all the time. The property is private with windows along the whole beach side. Its well equipped with everything you need to cook and go to the beach. The outdoor shower is great for cleaning up after a day at the beach or exploring the island.

Fantastic location

We LOVED The Beach Place

Located directly across the street from a popular boogie board beach, The Beach Place is an excellent location. One of the wonderful aspects of this rental is the constant sound of the surf. You will miss it when you have to leave. The unit is light and airy and the yard is lovely with gorgeous plantings. We liked the outdoor shower and appreciated the beach chairs and especially the umbrella. You will not be disappointed by choosing to stay at this comfortable, clean and convenient vacation home.

The property could not have much better access to Poipu Beach and the property is roomy. We were forced to cut our trip short due to covid-19 and the property management company that we dealt with for this site was excellent in helping us manage this situation. My only possible complaint was that as I had my family of four with me we found the Wi-Fi to be a bit spotty away from the living room but this is a small issue, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend if you're looking for a very quiet getaway. After sunset the beach area clears out and the whole coastline area feels very secluded and remote.

Ocean views and the sound of waves at all times!

Wonderful rental just steps from the ocean. Spacious and light with a lush yard and patio overlooking the ocean. We felt so comfortable and at home-loved it!!

Amazing location!!!

Steps to the sand

We loved our stay here—just 15 steps to the sand from the property! We swam with turtles, snorkeled with fish, basked in the sunshine and fell asleep to the sound of crashing waves. There’s an ocean view from everywhere—the lanai, garden, bedrooms, living room, and outdoor shower! The duplex and garden are very well maintained with nice beach decor. It’s a beautiful place to stay and very centrally located in the south shore. Perfect in every way. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Kauai.
