Experience the classic "Old Hawaii" charm of Kauai’s South Shore at Kiahuna Plantation, Unit 25. This second-floor end unit has been a cherished family retreat for over 40 years, thoughtfully updated to balance modern comfort with the property's original redwood character.

Prime Location and Ocean Views
Unit 25 is positioned to take full advantage of its natural surroundings. From the private lanai, guests can enjoy panoramic whitewater views of the surf. As an end unit, it benefits from consistent trade winds that provide natural cross-ventilation and cooling throughout the year. For outdoor relaxation, the front deck is naturally shaded by a mature rainbow tree, keeping the space comfortable even during the warmest parts of the day.

Resort Amenities and Beach Access
The condominium is set within lush, landscaped gardens, offering a scenic walk directly to the beach. Guests receive a complimentary membership to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club, which features a resort-style pool with a water slide, tennis courts, and a full fitness center. For a casual meal, the poolside Cabaña Grill is available with no reservations required.

Comfort and Convenience
The unit is fully equipped for island adventure. A dedicated guest closet includes beach umbrellas, snorkeling gear, tennis rackets, and lawn games. When dining out, the property is within walking distance of local favorites like Keoki’s Paradise and a short drive from the shopping and fine dining at Kukui'ula.

Whether you are looking to surf, hike the Na Pali Coast, or simply enjoy the quiet beauty of the gardens, Unit 25 offers a peaceful and authentic home base for your Kauai stay.

The cleaning fee is $58.10 including tax per day for stays up to 6 days. For stays over one week, the charge is $328.83 including tax. Additional cleaning, or restocking, can be requested at a reasonable cost. NOTE: VRBO doesn't seem to allow this type of pricing logic, so for reservations over six days, we may have to make an adjustment.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful second floor unit. The location was perfect, and the view was spectacular. Chuck was great to deal with and check-in was a breeze. Loved the easy access to the adjacent tennis club/restaurant/gym. The unit itself was well-equipped, and we definitely made use of all the beach amenities and local advice! Kauai is a special place and we had a wonderful vacation. Thanks again!

Beautiful beachfront property, with plenty of walkable amenities nearby. The condo was comfortable, well equipped and the ocean view from the lanai was perfect. Property staff was friendly and helpful and the garden surroundings felt like the old Hawaiian style that I was looking for.

Our plane was delayed overnight; between host Chuck and the office check in was very smooth. Appreciate their kindness and support. The view is extraordinary. Sipping your morning coffee on the Lanai while taking in the view was irreplaceable. Activity closet suited our needs. Some comments relate to the unit being a bit aged. Not a concern for us. Love the "private staircase" to this unit; allowed us to feel comfortable letting the breeze blow from the open front door to Lanai in the August heat of the day. Our relatives were in Bldg 4. - a quick walk across the lawn. The only upkeep suggestion: The twenty somethings that slept in the sofa bed recommend a new mattress. Aside from that, we will return to this unit. Mahalo!

Beautiful view from this place.

Photos provided by host are accurate. Place is as described with plenty of beach toys and equipment in activity closet. Kauai is a beautiful island that is less developed but enough to entertain the kids. The beach view is great from the living room and balancing. Beach is right there and kids loved it. Didn’t need to use the pool at the club because the beach was perfect each day, even on a partial rainy day. Host was very informative and communicative. Happy with our stay.

We have stayed at the Kiahuna Plantation in other units before. This was the best with a great location and a beautiful view. It was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful communicating before our stay which was nice. We’d definitely recommend staying here!

Paradise Found!

This unit retains its historic charm while still being modern enough to make us feel right at home! And the view just makes everything better! We really enjoyed the grounds, especially the orchid and cactus gardens. We just got home, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

Amazing location

This property is just a minute walk to the beach and has everything you would need: boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels (available daily from the beach hut). We had a great stay!

Quick trip to Kauai

We were on Kauai to look at properties, so not a typical vacation stay. The unit is in a great location with a wonderful ocean view across a manicured lawn. A comfortable, well-maintained one-bedroom unit with a small kitchen that was fine for our purposes on this visit but a bit small if you are planning to do a lot of cooking. Noise travels on the property. Be aware that you are likely to hear the inevitable early rising noise from young children who have not adjusted to the time change from the mainland, especially if you are renting during the holiday or spring break seasons. A membership to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club is included. The club is a short walk from the unit. We workout at the PBAC whenever we are on Kauai and love the facility.

Nice unit, but needs some upgrades. Bathroom showing its age. Front shutter on right side gets stuck in place. Most open/close mechanisms on shutters are hard to use. Some don’t work at all.Only one lounge chair on deck was also disappointing.

This was our fourth stay and our favorite unit at the Kiahuna Plantation. Comfortable, excellent view, very well supplied in the kitchen and beach locker with everything we could possibly use to make our stay more enjoyable. Loved the lanai. The beach chairs were much appreciated.

Lovely anniversary getaway

Overall we loved the property, the view and the beach. Check in was a breeze, the bed was comfortable and location was wonderful. The place is on the older side and could use freshening up but it’s classic Kauai and a tropical island so we enjoyed the comfort and the view and did not mind that it was a little outdated. Overall we were very happy and it met our expectations. Worth booking!

Amazing Aloha Condo!

This is the best condo we have stayed at in kiahuna so far. (4 in total.)While it is not as modern as some of the other newly renovated ones, it has that true Hawaiian vibe throughout from artwork to furniture. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need! Comfy bed too. The view of the ocean is all you see as you walk through the front door and the short walk to the beach is great. It gave us the best aloha feel and we will always book this condo from now on.

Fantastic!

We (husband and I with daughters ages 12 and 14)stayed at this exceptional property for 5 nights in August on our first trip to Kauai. The condo and its location exceeded our expectations. It is a one minute walk from the unit to stunning Kiahuna beach, and we had to tear our girls away from the ocean(swimming, snorkelling, body boarding and surfing) to visit other sights on the island. The view from the balcony is lovely and seemingly one of the best in the complex. The condo was well equipped with everything you might need, from beach supplies to a fully stocked kitchen and lots of closet/drawer space. The girls were very comfortable on the pull out couch and the king bed in the bedroom was lovely. The fans and fully screened windows and patio door were a welcome alternative to A/C and we were always comfortable. The owner went above and beyond with suggestions for restaurants in the area and assistance with any of our questions. My only hesitation in recommending this condo is I would like it to be available for our next trip to Kauai! Thanks so much to Chuck and family for having us.

The owner and staff at Castle Resort are very responsive and helpful. You cannot beat the location and use of the sports club across the street if you have kids. Would highly recommend!
