Enjoy stunning ocean and mountain views from this lovely end-unit condo. Especially dramatic is the view down the beach all the way to Spouting Horn. Enjoy the colorful skies of sunset and balmy breezes from your private lanai.

Near a variety of activities, shops and restaurants, this condo is in a wonderful location for maximizing your vacation enjoyment. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., both Poipu Bay Resort Golf Course and Kiahuna Golf Course are nearby and offer mother nature's beauty as well as challenge. If you would like to learn about tropical flora on Kauai, you may want to take a tour of Allerton Garden or McBride Garden, both a National Tropical Botanical Garden. Just down Lawai Road is 'Spouting Horn,' a lava tube that spouts when the waves force water into the tube and out the top in a spectacular display. And, of course, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby that offer a nice variety of delicious cuisine.

You can enjoy some rest and relaxation right on your lanai while watching the waves roll in during the day and beautiful sunsets in the evenings. The swimming pool is a short walk from your condo whenever you feel like a refreshing dip. Take a short stroll along the ocean to Poipu Beach Park for snorkeling, swimming, surfing and sunning. Nice to know there is a lifeguard there in case you want to go into the water.

Best View in Poipu

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The view can not be beat! 180 degree ocean view from the lanai. We spend every morning and sunset out there watching whales and just relaxing. The building is really showing its age however the finishes and furnishings in this unit are updated and in good condition. No noise from the street or neighbors, only the ocean! Well equipped kitchen. Great location in Poipu! We could walk to the beach. I think it was 1/3 of a mile. In the other direction was a fantastic walking path that runs up to the Hyatt. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning. Listing says it has AC but it’s only a tiny portable unit that doesn’t really do much unless you’re standing in front of it. It was requested that we leave the windows closed while out for the day so that means we came home to a roasting hot condo. Even in January, fans and ocean breezes don’t really cut it. Mornings were pleasant but after an entire day of south facing sun exposure, the afternoons, evenings, and nights were not very comfortable inside. But I must reiterate that the view and location are absolutely top notch!

The apartment was clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed. It's on the 5th floor (there's an elevator) and it's on the ocean corner of the apartment building. Awesome views!

The Best Ocean View on Kauai

This is an amazing condo with a lovely location in Poipu. The kitchen had plenty of amenities. Quiet and relaxing condo property. We enjoyed sleeping to the sounds of waves with all windows & doors open for fresh air. The trade winds helped cool the condo which has no A/C. The property manager & Kauai Vacation Rentals were available for questions. Mahalo

A Real Jem

I’m afraid to write too many nice things about this condo and then it won’t be affordable next time I visit Kauai. But the location is spectacular. The condo is clean and decorated so nicely. The complex is quiet and clean. I’ll only ever want to stay here every trip to Kauai.

This is the best view on the island. Crashing waves, great sunset and panoramic views of the Pacific. Very peaceful with one caveat. There is a property manager there who obviously doesn't want renters. Most people own there. He gave us a hard time twice and I reported it to Kauai Vacation Rentals. They called me and I thought they were going to apologize but instead informed us we were getting fined for parking in the loading zone! They never read my email which told them ahead of time that friends had come to pick us up for dinner and they parked there for literally two minutes before this manager was banging on the door and threatening to have it towed. I thought KVR's was calling me to offer compensation and an apology. They should have just blown him off. I would still highly recommend this place and maybe you will not experience a problem there with him. But KVR did disappoint an otherwise lovely time.

Love the views

We stay at room 501 and the room is amazing, ocean view and saw whale in the first day in the morning while husband is making coffee. Few minutes walk to the beach and shopping centre. Lot’s of beautiful place nearby to explore that surprise us and definitely we would like to come back again here in Poipu and highly recommend this place. Lastly, picking and dropping off the key is very easy and management is very understandable.

The most amazing place and view!

We loved everything about this wonderful place! The home was well equipped and beautiful! It was incredibly comfortable! The Lanai was my favorite place…saw whales twice, beautiful sunsets and sunrises! The walks in both directions were great! The walk to Shipwreck Beach and beyond was fun and breathtaking! I can’t wait to go back! Thank you for sharing this special spot

Unforgettable 1st Hawaii Trip

The unit has stunning ocean view and sunsets and moonlighting, it doesn’t get better. It rained almost daily but only for a few n stopped n sun was shining again. It was hot n humid but this unit has lots of wind if you open windowing door. No AC but wasn’t needed. Perfect cooking facility n it provided everything, well equipped. Walking distance to restaurants and Poipu beach which was beautiful. I would definitely stay here again. It was quiet and safe. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with my family.

No AC

While the view was beautiful, the was no AC. It was VERY hot. Sleeping with the windows open let in the ocean breeze, but the ocean crashed up against the shore and sounded somewhat like fireworks. It was very loud. They had ceiling fans, but the only strong one is in the kitchen area. They provide 2 pedestal fans, but one was broken. Also, be sure to bring body wash, shampoo & conditioner, and coffee. They don't provide that for you.

Best unit and view in Koloa

We absolutely loved our unit. It was on the top floor corner overlooking the ocean. The huge deck with tables and chairs was the perfect place for morning coffee. AND the deck/living room faces directly west, so a gorgeous sunset every night. We will absolutely come back to this unit. We came with our 2 grand kids (18 and 15) and the twin beds in the bedroom was perfect for them. No view but they I my slept there. The views from the living room and master bedroom were stunning.. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. Even EVOO. I’d rate this 6 stars out of 5!

Amazing VRBO!!

You absolutely can’t beat the view from this unit! It was super clean and fully stocked with everything you would need in the updated kitchen. The washer/dryer was so nice to have as well. The location was also great. It was only about a 5 minute walk to get to both Brennecke & Poipu beaches and about a 15-20 minute walk to the get to a local shopping center with coffee, restaurants and a small market. We will definitely stay here again. Can’t wait to get back!

Amazing!!!

Sunset Kahili 501 is amazing! It’s on the top floor, corner. When you’re on the balcony you feel like you’re on a cruise because all you see is ocean! Views from every window is stunning. 2 bedroom layout is perfect for a family. We will stay here again!
