Tucked away on a quiet street and just 325 yards from the beach, this inviting home is perfect for families and groups looking to enjoy the best of the Outer Banks—without the crowds.

Start your mornings on one of the home's multiple spacious decks, coffee in hand, gently rocking as ocean breezes drift through the surrounding pines. After a quick, easy walk to the beach, return home to cool off in your private swimming pool or soak away the day in the hot tub.

Designed with connection and comfort in mind, Gone With The Wind offers a variety of indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Kids will love the shaded play area beneath the home, while adults can unwind with evening conversation, porch swings, or a friendly game of foosball.   • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Great North Duck retreat!

We loved our stay at this lovely home in duck. You can see the new owners are taking a lot of care in updating this beautiful home. It’s really well equipped for large groups, has super comfy beds and beautiful rooms, the pool and hot tub were also so awesome to have access to between beach time. Would recommend this to anyone that asked! Hope we get to stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second visit to the property and once again, we were very satisfied. We have booked the same property for 2021. This property is ideally situated in Duck and a very reasonable distance from the beach.

This home did just that. The decor was inviting and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. The kitchen design made it fun to cook while carrying on a conversation with others on the same floor. We truly enjoyed our stay despite the weather!
