The location is an ideal base, whether you want to take a car and use that to explore the island, or catch the bus to explore. A short pleasant walk to the town centre, where there is lots to explore including St Magnus Cathedral, Bishops Palace, Earls Palace, local shops and restaurants and The Orkney Museum.

Highland Park Distillery is a short walk (less than 10 minutes) from the property.
