"It’s centrally located with Tesco Express within a minute of walk. There are restaurants at the Main Street which are also within 10 minutes of walk. Parking on- street is easy and no restrictions after 6pm and before 9am. An hour parking with no return within one hour is allowed during the period of 9am and 6pm. The host is very nice and very friendly. We were warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable during the stay. The room we stayed was very clean, spacious with all the amenities we needed....

"Wir hatten eine tolle Auszeit im the Hideaway. Die Inhaber sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück jeden Tag aufs Neue sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten bequem. Auf Sonderwünsche wird eingegangen 😊 wir können die Unterkunft wirklich jederzeit empfehlen!"

"Our room was spacious and it was quiet after dinner hours. The hosts were exceptionally generous and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful room. Great place to stay in the Lake District!"

"Lovely stay here. The room was fantastic, staff helpful and breakfast was amazing. The chauffeur ride into Cartmel was also a great touch. We shall return!"

"There were many issues with our stay here. 1. The owners messed with our stuff while we were out. 2. The toilet could only be flushed about 1x per hour. The owner said this was normal. 3. They do not even serve breakfast much less have a free one. 4. There is no airflow in the rooms and they do not have fans. While this is a relatively cheap place to stay, you will likely pay with a lack of comfort"

"We booked a last minute break away to the Lakes and found this lovely little Guest house. Communication with Rob & Becky was great before hand, on arrival Rob met us and showed us to our room, which had everything we needed and he kindly provided us with an iron & board. Property is perfectly located for Windermere and Bowness. Few mins away from the station too. Breakfast was amazing, bacon was spot on!! With a lovely fresh cafetière of coffee! Would happily return and definitely would...

"I went here late July, the owners where really nice and made a banging breakfast. Helped my navigate around the lakes and provided a few recommendations. Will definitely be going back"

"Good location. Short walking distance to both towns nearby. The staff were very attentive. Large choice for breakfast"

"We had a great stay. We were made to feel very welcome including our dog. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great and we were even give options when we needed something to eat a little earlier on the first morning. Will definitely stay again."

"Overall nice room, great location but disappointed with Expedia inflating the price of breakfast. Hotel charge £13pp served at the pub across the road (fab breakfast) we were charged £27pp"

"Was a bit spooky in house on my own as friends were in barn, breakfast was lovely and hosts friendly, I would stay again"
