"The Priory was a delightful find situated in the Herefordshire countryside about 4 miles from Hereford. We stayed in one of the self-contained apartments which was both comfortable and well-equipped. The owners were very helpful and responded very quickly to questions we had pre-arrival including a recommendation for an evening meal at the Bell Inn in Tillington. "

"Excellent host gives a great welcome and explained everything properly. House is a gem, just off the High St, and very quiet. Generous amount and variety of things for self-catering breakfast. Warm room, comfortable bed and a proper bathroom. Highly recommend this place."

"I stayed alone at Bowens for the weekend and had a very pleasant visit. Host was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of pillows and blankets. I couldn't fault the cooked breakfast, coffee and orange juice I chose. I also loved the fact you could have it delivered to your room or choose to have it over looking the lovely garden. "

"A great place to stay. Very quirky and you could tell that the place had a lot of history. Very clean and tidy and beautifully maintained. The only issue we had was the TV did not work well in the room we stayed in (4) as it kept losing the signal and buffering."

"The Celyn is located in an outstanding rural position. From the moment you arrive Sarah and Paul were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. "We booked at The Town House Brecon as we were attending the Hay Festival nearby. The welcome we received was fantastic, the room was lovely with a big comfortable bed and we slept better than we had in ages. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and there was an honesty bar in the cosy lounge area. We would highly recommend this lovely B&B and would happily book to stay again."

"The place is a regular house with few rooms turned into a lodge, which results in lack of drinking facilities in the rooms, lack of en-suite bathroom, lack of proper breakfast, etc. Breakfast is a toast with rather old ham and cheese and Activia. Some of the scones were there on the kitchen counter throughout our stay, which made us question the freshness of the products offered. Not a very clean kitchen, which again, made us question the cleanliness of mugs, plates, cutlery. The owner is there...
