"Good quiet location. Plenty of car parking spaces Spacious room with all amenities. Only thing missing was a tray for the complimentary teas in the room to protect the side. Large well planned seating area in adjacent pub with cheap value food and drinks. Pleasant, helpful staff just not many of them. Would definitely use again!"

Room was large and welcoming, nicely decorated and with three large opening windows for us to control air to the room and a required temperature. Breakfast was self serve and there was a good enough choice and it was a great start / set up for the day. "I loved staying at The Beaches because everything was perfect, the owners were on hand to do breakfast every morning which wasn't limited to either a full English or just cereals (as in some B&B's that I've stayed in), they were happy to be of any help that you needed. I would be very happy to stay there next year when I go down again. There was nothing to hate about staying there."

The only things that let it down, was the annexe we stayed in, could of done with a bit of updating and an iron. But other than that i would advise staying in one of the rooms inside the hotel. "We always stay at the Royal Hotel if we are in WSM for the night. In terms of being in a central location it can't be beaten. It's a traditional and spacious hotel. The staff always go above and beyond to assist you. It's a beautiful, old building. We had a twin room and the bathroom was larger than my living room. Wonderful sea views. I miss the view already! Very highly recommended. Haven't tried the food sadly but it looks delicious!"

"This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...
