"Good quiet location. Plenty of car parking spaces Spacious room with all amenities. Only thing missing was a tray for the complimentary teas in the room to protect the side. Large well planned seating area in adjacent pub with cheap value food and drinks. Pleasant, helpful staff just not many of them. Would definitely use again!"

"An extremely quick and friendly welcome and check in, especially as we arrived around 10:30pm after a busy day out and about. Room was large and welcoming, nicely decorated and with three large opening windows for us to control air to the room and a required temperature. Breakfast was self serve and there was a good enough choice and it was a great start / set up for the day. Cleaning wise, extra attention needs to be made to this as I awoke to find one of my pillows looked like it had been...

"This was our first stay at Go2 Portishead. We were welcomed by a nice receptionist. The room was clean with everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. The parking was convenient and nearby. We would recommend the hotel and hope to stay there again."

We had room service which was very fast and efficient (we collected it from the bar to save the £5 charge). Food was good. Beds were comfortable. We had everything we need for an overnight stay. "

The only things that let it down, was the annexe we stayed in, could of done with a bit of updating and an iron. But other than that i would advise staying in one of the rooms inside the hotel. "We always stay at the Royal Hotel if we are in WSM for the night. In terms of being in a central location it can't be beaten. It's a traditional and spacious hotel. The staff always go above and beyond to assist you. It's a beautiful, old building. We had a twin room and the bathroom was larger than my living room. Wonderful sea views. I miss the view already! Very highly recommended. Haven't tried the food sadly but it looks delicious!"

"This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...
