From the door, footpaths lead you through rolling farmland and down towards the turquoise waters of Soar Mill Cove. The walk itself is part of the pleasure, a scenic stretch of the South West Coast Path revealing wide horizons and salty air. Spend afternoons on the beach with a picnic, explore hidden coves, or pull on your trainers and follow the coastline towards Hope Cove for a well-earned cream tea overlooking the sea (just remember to put the cream on first!). For those keen to venture further, Salcombe's boutiques, boat trips and waterside restaurants are just a short drive away.
Inside, The Store is a masterclass in understated design. Newly renovated, the barn blends clean architectural lines with soft, layered interiors that feel both contemporary and welcoming. The open-plan living space forms the heart of the home, a light-filled setting for slow breakfasts, relaxed suppers and evenings spent gathered around the table. The kitchen is beautifully appointed and thoughtfully equipped, making cooking together a pleasure rather than a chore. A sofa and easy chairs make the perfect space to kick back and watch a movie together when you just want to relax.
The bedrooms are calm and restorative, styled in a soothing palette that mirrors the surrounding landscape. Crisp linens, tactile fabrics and carefully chosen details create a sense of quiet luxury, while modern bathrooms and rainfall showers add a polished finish to this considered retreat.

Dogs: Please note that The Store allows two well behaved dogs at an additional charge

A babe-in-arms is most welcome at The Store. A travel cot can be provided on request (just ping us an email once you've made your booking). Please note, you will need to bring your own mattress and cot bedding.

Wifi: The Store has WiFi so if you need to stay in touch with the outside world, you can!
