The unspoilt village of Bantham itself is an absolute joy. With its own local pub and a well-stocked village shop, it's friendly locals are in abundance, ready to point you in the direction of the best surf, the finest cream tea or the freshest seafood.
The beach itself is a watersports paradise. Miles of golden sand, crystal clear water and incredible waves. Grab a Surf Board, Kayak or a Stand-Up Paddleboard and head on down to this pristine beach, less than five minutes walk from the house.
If a sunbathe and a good book are more your thing, the Avon estuary beach is a calmer, quieter spot for you to relax and unwind. But, whatever you choose to do - 'River View' provides the ideal base to enjoy this incredible location any time of the year.

The nearest bus stop is at the nearby village of Churchstow approx 2-3 miles away.
The nearest train station is at Totnes approx 15 miles away.

Although the property does have parking space for one car, if you do bring more than one car there is additional parking available in the Bantham Estate car park (please visit the Bantham Estate website for full parking cost details).
Between 1st October and 30th April there is also on street parking available but please do also check for any on street parking info signage that may be displayed in case of any temporary restrictions.
