The Space:

Villa 1 at Villas by the Cove is a beautifully appointed one-bedroom villa located in the heart of Kihei, directly across from Cove Park and just steps from two of South Maui’s most popular white-sand beaches. Set slightly back from the road and surrounded by a lush tropical garden of mango and palm trees, this private single-story retreat offers a peaceful island atmosphere with unbeatable proximity to the ocean.



This charming 600-square-foot villa comfortably accommodates two adults in a king bed, which may be converted into two twin beds upon request. The living room features a full-size sofa bed, suitable for one additional adult or two small children, making Villa 1 an ideal choice for couples or small families.



Originally built as a beach bungalow in the 1950s, Villa 1 retains its classic Hawaiian character while incorporating thoughtful modern upgrades. The interior includes an air-conditioned ocean-view living room, high-speed Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable king bedroom, and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Thoughtfully designed like a second home, Villa 1 comes stocked with essentials and travel extras: beach towels, iron and ironing board, tupperware, wine glasses, dishwasher pods, clothes drying rack, and more. Basic necessities—linens, bath towels, kitchen rags, travel-size toiletries, and pantry staples like salt, pepper, and olive oil—are also included.



Step outside to the covered lanai to enjoy gentle ocean breezes, or take advantage of private gated parking conveniently located just steps from the front door. With Cove Park, swimming beaches, and Kihei’s coastal lifestyle right outside your door, Villa 1 offers an authentic and relaxed Maui stay in an exceptional location.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive use of Villa 1, including the private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area, and covered lanai.

Guests can enjoy the shared swimming pool, two communal gas BBQ grills, and a complimentary washer and dryer are located on the property

Two beach chairs, two boogie boards, a beach umbrella, and a cooler are provided for your sun-filled days at the beach.



The Neighborhood:

Villas by the Cove is located 25 feet from The Cove Beach Park where guests can mingle with locals, take surf lessons or body surf in The Cove's consistent small waves. Charley Young Beach, a long stretch of white sand ideal for beach walks and swimming, is another local favorite that's located at the end of the street, about a one minute walk from the property front gate.



Getting Around:

For the active and adventurous traveler, our prime location offers easy access to sun bathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, diving, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and whale watching. Also a golfers' paradise with nearby world class golf clubs less than 10 minutes away in Wailea and Makena. Restaurants, shops, nightlife, cafes, farmer’s markets, and Kalama Park are within a 5-10 minute walk from Villas By The Cove.
