Sugar Beach is right! If you come here for the water then this condo is for you. The room was meticulously ready for living in. The entire condo is welcoming and delightful.

Great location

Just at the beginning of the main Kihei strip, an endless sand beach with an awesome view. Beautiful outdoor patio area with pool, plenty of lounge chairs, large umbrellas and BBQs; could be better highlighted in listing. Unit is functional, well maintained and easy to access (once you know the little road twist in this area).

Good condominium for long stay

My deepest condolences on the Lahaina wildfire tragedy. Regardless of my feelings about the tragedy, Nani Kai Hale is one of the best condominiums I have stayed in during my 20+ stays on Maui. During our stay, the pool and other areas were noisy due to renovation work, but the property management company reported the situation to us in advance and offered us a discount or a change to another facility, which we accepted and stayed at Nani Kai Hale. The rooms are small, clean, and have everything you need to enjoy your vacation on Maui. The only air conditioning is in the living room, but the bedrooms are less uncomfortable to sleep in if you open the windows. The location is close to the intersection of H330 and H311, which is very convenient, although the noise from cars is noisy early in the morning. The day after the Lahaina wildfires, I received an email from the property management company confirming my situation, and I appreciated their consideration.

Bad outweighs the good

Upon arrival we were somewhat disappointed. The unit feels dingy and outdated. The condo grounds are clean and the oceanfront area is very nice, however the stairwells and hallways to the units are poorly lit. The location is convenient but given the Piilani Highway is very close, you hear a lot of road noise. There is no comfortable seating in the living room making it hard to relax. The kitchen was well stocked aside from BBQ tools which would be a nice addition. The dishes required cleaning before use and the coffee cups were chipped. A few days into our trip we noticed roaches on the kitchen counter. The overall lighting in the unit is poor. We couldn't get the living room AC to work but thankfully there is a nice cross breeze. The bed is comfortable but if you open the curtains next to the bed you can been seen from the parking lot, the balcony above and below so there's not a lot of privacy in there. Based on our experience we would not recommend.

Maui vacation

This condo is exactly as the pictures show. The location was perfect for everything we did, we had no issues until the end when the toilet stopped working but the condo has two bathrooms!! The property manager did not have enough time to fix it before we left and it did not hinder us. Having two bathrooms was amazing! The grassy area in front of the condo was perfect for our picnic and just hanging out watching the ocean without getting sandy; although we did hang out on the beach a few times and there were beach chairs, sandmats, cooler, beach towels, everything anyone needs to hit the beach. We used the kitchen to cook a few meals and the kitchen was fully stocked. Parking was never an issue, there are plenty of spots available. Great place to watch the sunset in the evenings and Kihei has something for everyone. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone. This vacation was just me and my 17 yo daughter and with the pull out couch, we were able to each have our own space at night and our own bathrooms.

Good little rental, great location!

We enjoyed our stay. The property is quiet and the lounge and pool area are well maintained. The condo itself needs some attention. There are several minor repairs that need to be made which are a nuisance; especially the toilets. Other than that, it was a good place to stay and we enjoyed the location immensely.

Low key, quiet property right on one of Maui’s best beaches - Sugar beach. Perfect for a couple. Apt is clean and bright , you get the morning sun and a view of the ocean. We would stay there again.

Basics Plus Beachfront, perfect for kids

Everything was in working order, we cleared a large space in the main room for the kids to play with puzzles and toys, even with the large baby crib, and the air conditioning kept the place comfortable. The porch was perfect for morning coffee and the view was gorgeous! We would stay again 100%

The Perfect Place to Stay in Maui!

This condo complex is in a wonderful location. It is directly on the beach, and the beach is never really crowded. Great place to see amazing sunsets, walk on the beach, swim. It also has a lovely grassy area with lawn chairs, tables and grill area. The condo was clean, comfortable and just enough kitchen to eat some simple meals at condo instead of going out. The condo was also quiet, never heard any neighbors at all. There was enough parking space. I would highly recommend this place, both location and this condo. FYI, I was surprised at how large Maui is, much larger than it seems on YouTube videos.

Kihei apartman is for is amazing

Nice big apartment for two people. The kitchen is fully equipped, a mixer and boxes for food on the go. A clean pool and a pleasant garden with barbecue facilities, sunbeds and right by the beach.

Great condo to stay in Maui, highly recommended

This condo was a great place to stay for me and and my wife while on short vacation in Maui. Very close proximity to all activities we did. The condo is well maintained and will book it again on our next visit to Maui. Will surely recommend this condo to friends who will visit Maui in the future. Perfect beach condo

The condo was perfect for our needs. It has a beautiful lawn right on the beach with a pool, beach chairs, umbrellas, tables, and barbecues. Fun to walk about 10 minutes to the local farmers market open most days with a variety of locally grown and made foods. Next to it is ABC store and delicious ululani’s shaved ice. Very friendly people and wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed having the kitchenette and the location was perfect for us. We went down to Wailea many times as well as the Maalaea harbor for a whale watching cruise and to visit the awesome aquarium, all within 20 min. Very convenient to airport and also road to Hana and Haleakala national park. The AC blew very cold air keeping the main room cool, bedroom got a little warm but there were many fans to keep it comfortable. Nice to have the two bathrooms. Room came stocked with beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, snorkel gear, and cooler. Would definitely stay again, it was a wonderful experience!

Amazing view!!

Loved the view and set up at the condo. Only issue was we booked a condo with one criteria a king sized bed was disappointed that it was updated to a queen at some point and we weren’t advised. Not much we could do.

Location awesome!

The location was awesome, have stayed in this building many times! But the amenities in the condo where not up to par! The furniture was cheap, falling apart! Double bed with a foamy on top! Very hot to sleep on! The lack of dishes and pots! The frying pan was terrible with no lid! There was a message taped to the stove that stated to use low heat when using the frying pans as they were getting wrecked! Not the problem! They were so cheap they would burn on low heat , snd of course not cook! The whole place put together very cheaply! Would not stay here again for the price!

Condominium with a view of the parking lot and neighboring buildings. Located on opposite end of building from the Ocean. Pictures are somewhat misleading. Furnishings are basic and very uncomfortable. Average at Best.
