The Maui Banyan Condo is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo close to Kamaole ll Beach. It is composed of a main unit and a studio.

Maui Banyan Resort is situated on 8 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds located in South Maui across the street from the popular Kamaole Beach Park II. This white sandy beach is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. It is a 5-minute drive to the Wailea Resort shops, golf courses, and tennis courts. Maui Banyan features a swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ area, tennis court, and covered parking. Take a walk on the sand just directly across the street or lounge by one of the pools with your favorite book. This complex has something for everybody; upscale amenities, a relaxing atmosphere and a prime location right in the heart of Kihei. Several great restaurants and shops are within walking distance as well as a surf school!

Guests to this home will have access to two pools, two hot tubs, outdoor barbecues, tennis court, and lounge chairs. Aside from beautiful beaches, the neighborhood is also in great proximity to golf courses and all of the convenient services in Kihei. There are also more sunny days on this part of Maui.

Great Location

Our group of 7 really enjoyed our stay here. The location was great. Kamaole Beach II is walking distance, it was a great beach for our kids. The unit comfortably fit all 7 of us. We used the pull-out bed in the couch and it was very comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with what we needed. I appreciated the coffee filters! In person the condo was a less spectacular than the pictures but overall it was clean and met our needs. The grounds are well kept and the pool was nice. We would stay here again with our group.

The location and property were great, but washer did not work, the owner did nothing to accommodate.

Our rental consisted of a washer/dryer within the room and our group of 7 people packed accordingly. The day before our stay, the property manager contacted us and told us the washer would not be working during our stay. They offered no alternative and no reimbursement for the fact that we rented a room with but got a room without a washer. We had to significantly adjust our plans due to this issue.

First trip to Maui

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was excellent. The condo was clean and had everything we needed, beach chairs, umbrellas, a wagon and more. The pots and pans were good quality (better than I have at home). The mattresses were very comfy. The location was great, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The pool and hot tub where nice, lots of vegetation and the site was well kept. Good security/staff always on duty on the grounds and in the parkade. Had a few cockroaches but the building is sprayed every week. We had 2 senior, 2 adults and 2 teens in our group and there was lots of room for all. The condo had excellent travel books and information sheets. The other visitors and residents were very friendly. Would definitely rent again.

Absolutely perfect

What a beautiful place! You know how sometimes you don't know what you are going to get with the photos? Not this place! It was beautiful. Spacious, decorated beautifully, very functional for our family. The proximity to everything we needed was perfect. Love the area, building was great, people in it were nice, and the kids/grandparents loved the pool area. It had everything we needed - the wagon, beach chairs, all even a couple tall chair for the grandparents was such a nice touch. If we are fortunate enough to come back, we will rent this place again for sure!!

Great location

Great location in Kihei that is within walking distance of beaches and great restaurants. Condo was spacious and updated. The property management was easy to work with and went out of their way to make some last minute accommodations. Only complaint was a few cockroaches we saw, but it is near the beach and that can happen in that climate.

Maui in July

This was a pleasant property that was quiet at night if the glass doors were closed. Two pleasant pools and hot tubs, pretty landscaping, easy to access tennis, great beach with lots of sea turtles, easy access to other great beaches and local shopping. The property manager was responsive when a sink was clogged. Lots of chairs, mats, snorkel gear, tennis gear in the unit. Kitchen had good amount of cooking utensils, pots and pans, and dishes. There were 4 teens and 2 older adults in the group, and we were all pleased.

Everything we needed!

We loved staying at this property. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We especially liked having snorkeling gear, body boards, volleyball, tennis rackets, beach chairs... Made for a super fun week for our family!

This property will only allow guests who are 30+ years old so make sure you read the fine print! Property is in a great location! Beds were pretty alright, the room with a king bed could really use a new mattress because the indentations are pretty bad. Loved that it came with all of the beach gear! Could use just some general small maintenance done to the place, tightening of screws on towel bars, washer needs to have a deep clean done as it has a smell to it when you turn it on. Super close to a lot of places to eat! Beach right across the street (make sure you can walk up and down a hill). Pool and hot tub were really nice! Security guard does shut down everything promptly if he doesn’t do it early so be aware of that! Do not hang your towels over the balcony to dry you’ll get a “notice”. Overall a great stay, and would return!

Girls trip

Over all this is a great place to stay. Great beach access and close to restaurants. However when we arrived at 4 to check-in the cleaner was there cleaning and still had the majority of the units to clean. Upon our return the unit was not stocked with enough towels or wash rags. We had 8 people in our party and we we’re staying 10 days .There where only 6 bath towels, 3 wash rags and 4 hand towels. There were no sheets for the hide-a-bed and no small trash bags for the bathroom trash cans. The unit was also very dusty and under all beds there was debris and dust. When I reached out to our caretaker to let her know she said she had inspected the unit and that it was clean. She would not even let me finish what I was saying and it was very frustrating. She did bring us brand new towels and sheets that she had gone out and bought. If I could attach pictures of the dust and debris underneath the beds I would but there is no place to attach pictures.

Perfect Place for a Family Vacation

This was my first VRBO experience and didn't know what to expect, but I'm happy to say this property did not disappoint. The location, the size, the cleanliness, everything was fantastic and made for a perfect family vacation. My family of 7 (spouse and I + 5 kids 13, 11, 9, 6, 5) had a blast and I'm so thankful for how things worked out. I highly recommend this property to anyone with a family looking for space to suit their size. The beach is a very short walk down the hill and shops, dining, and desserts are a short walk down the sidewalk. Everything is within walking distance. Kihei is our new favorite! Thank you to these property owners for such a fantastic place.

Property manager was great

We had a couple of problems with the accuracy of the over the top check in process. The keyless entry instructions failed to tell us that the dead bolt on the outside of the door had to be turned to enter. The interior pass door to the second room was not working as well. We called Rachel (property manager) and she was excellent to work with. She had a locksmith over the next morning and even came over to wait for him to finish so we wouldn't have to delay any of our plans. That being said, the unit was nice, plenty of beach items out on the Lanai. Loved that the cabinets were stocked with spices and kitchen stuff. We cook in a lot to save on expenses and that was a nice touch! We had 7 in our party and with the two bedroom it was definitely enough room! The beach wagon was full of sand as well as the snorkel gear..not sure that got cleaned out before we got there, but it was no big deal either. We did leave it cleaner than we found it. Thanks for the use of your Condo!

Great unit

Excellent rental. Great location, easy walk to Kam beaches. Kitchen well equipped with everything needed. Beds very comfortable. Boogie boards and beach equipment provided - wagon helpful for going to the beach. Unfortunately 3/4 beach chairs were broken and need replacing. TVs worked great. The washer was broken during our stay so unfortunately that wasn't accessible for us. The pool near the unit was closed for most of our stay but opened at the end and kids loved it. We kept all our food in the fridge as there are very tiny ants that seem to be able to get into any container.

Amazing!!!

My family and I are so impressed by this property. Such a clean condo and stocked with kitchen and beach items. The double bed room is divided like a hotel with kitchenette. Great when you have small kids that wake up at the crack of dawn 🤪 A lot of parking across from the room. Beach is walking distance as well as food, coffee and shopping areas. Our flight got in early and the property manager was amazing to let us in before the 4 pm check in time. We are beyond happy and will definitely use this place for our future vacation. Could not recommend more!!!!!

Beautiful unit
