Welcome to Kauhale Makai 327, a stunning freshly remodeled oceanfront condo fully equipped with luxury furniture, custom fixtures, and includes everything you need to feel right at home on vacation. We invite you to stay and enjoy the peaceful and beautiful Kauhale Makai (Village by The Sea) resort.

This condo offers; fully stocked kitchen, new stainless steel appliances, many kitchen accessories, brand new luxury furniture, new floors throughout, tasteful decor, beach towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler and much, much more!

The master bedroom has a luxuriously comfortable king size bed, a Smart TV for you to stream all of your favorite shows and movies. You can gaze at the beautiful ocean view right from your bed, or take advantage of the private entrance to the lanai from your room.

The living room has a comfortable pull-out sofa bed with a queen mattress and an LED Smart TV and WiFi. Tasteful decor and lighting throughout give this home an added element of beachy chic. The kitchen will meet all your needs, the appliances and accessories are all there for you to create memorable meals at home. This condo also offers Central AC to keep you cool.

This complex has immaculately maintained grounds, including a heated pool, a hot tub, a BBQ area, plenty of parking, and just a short walk to the closest beach.

Kauhale Makai - Village By The Sea is proud to be a Smoke-Free condo/resort.

Check in at the front office and for your parking and registration.

**The Pool will be Closed from April 22nd-May 6th 2024 and the dates have been discounted to reflect that.**

Travel Insurance – Please look into this as your first line of defense, as it limits losses for both parties. All of the major booking sites offer trip insurance that you can purchase at time of booking. Also, many credit cards do offer some sort of travel reimbursement as terms of their program, please check with your credit card company as well, should you choose not to protect your trip with the site you are booking this reservation on.

Well kept, clean property both inside and out. Beach front. Condo had all amenities needed to cook- toaster, coffee maker, stove/oven with assorted pots and pans, baking pans, microwave, Site had gas grills. Supply of beach cooler and chairs, towels. Will recommend this condo to family and friends!

Great room for two and young kids

There is everything you need for a stay away from home. You have a view of the ocean from the main area and also from the bedroom. There is a pull out sofa if you have kids with you in the main room. A pool with grilles for cooking and best of all you are in the quiet area of Kihei and .7 miles to all shops restaurants and the food truck court. Quick and easy to get to the Piilani Hwy to go down to Wailea / Makena or back to Kahului.

Honeymoon stay!

For it being a last minute booking, we couldn’t be happier with the place we chose! The property manager was awesome and the view from the balcony was better than expected. If we visit Kihei again we’d definitely consider booking here again!

Nice place!

Exactly as pictured! Fun stay lots of stuff to use! The only down side was there was Alot of dust on the bed frame, no big deal but easy wipe up! Beautiful property loved the walk to the beach! Exactly what was expected. The whole equipment available was awesome the beach chairs, umbrella, the cart made all beach trips amazing! I would definitely stay with VIP properties again!

The property were nice looking but the floor were so sticky not clean the bed sheets were not washed at all they smell very bad and the first two days of our stay we didn’t have any hot water and we were waking up on the noise of the neighbors the dish washer need some work the sink stink like fish

Good

There were minor issues w.r.t dish washer and the plates, but the property manager resolved them very quickly and promptly. It is only reason I am giving the rating as 4. Otherwise, i would have given 5 to the property.

False advertising for this condo. It was very expensive and yet the views were not stunning at all, and I wouldn’t call it GORGEOUS either! You have to crane your neck to see water, and the main view is a parking lot and other condos. Most of the beach chairs were broken. I tried 3 before finding one that wasn’t. There’s an iron but no ironing board. The fitted sheet on the bed kept popping off. There’s all sorts of junk in the closets that made hanging clothes challenging. The building mgrs. keep a “closed” sign on their door and act as if they’re doing you a favor to open it to answer questions. Overall, I did not get the value I was expecting for the money I paid. Very disappointing. On the upside, the island is beautiful and Kehei is centrally located to many places to explore. I would stay in this little town again, but not this condo.

Maui Honeymoon

We stayed for a week long honeymoon and had a wonderful time! The condo was very nice and clean as well as in a great location! If I had to nit-pic a complaint it would only be to suggest putting a better shower head in the bathroom. Other than that little gripe this stay was perfect!

The pictures does not justice, the place is Spectacular! The morning Sunrises and nightly Sunsets were beautiful. The views from the property are breathtaking. Overall I didn’t want to leave. The decor is modern and clean. I love the kitchen as well. Best choice and Management was timely and ensured I was ok and had everything I needed. Thanks

Condo Stay in Lihei

Property and amenities were good although the bathroom is very small. Close to beach but rock all mixed in with sand so we went to better beaches. Swimming pool and hot tub were very good and we used them several times.

High standards

We have been to Maui many times and have stayed at some really beautiful resort properties..we booked a little late this time and found this property in Kihei.. the unit is beautifully remodeled with a view of ocean and the sunsets were gorgeous. It is an older property and the beach isn’t great so we drove to other beaches. A good value for January on Maui.

Good location, good communication, not the cleanest

Overall, a good stay. the location is great, views are pretty, kitchen was well equipped, the property has been nicely updated and has generally a good ambiance. Really appreciated the cooler bag, beach chairs, umbrella etc - wonderful extras! However, while it was generally relatively clean and usable, the property desperately needs a THOROUGH deep clean especially in the bathroom - all the old drip marks on the bathroom walls, a new shower curtain that isn’t moldy on the bottom, proper wipe down of cupboards so handles aren’t sticky with other guests spills etc. Aside from the need for a deep clean, the property also desperately needs a new mattress or at the very least, a mattress topper of sorts as the bed is extremely hard (and we’re used to a relatively firm mattress!) almost like a 2nd box spring! All that being said, we did really enjoy our stay here and the two concerns we had are easily remedied and would make this an even better place to stay 😊

Condo was in a nice location with good view of ocean. Condo could have been cleaner (floors and shower grout and vent in shower). We were without a/c for 3+ days due to building outage, so Condo got very hot in afternoons even with doors and drapes closed:(. Well stocked and comfortable.

The place was very cute, nice updating. Nice array of beach gear. Whom ever the cleaning crew is though, they are NOT doing their job well at all! The floors, tub, and dishes were filthy. Had to go to Walmart and get bleach to clean before we could walk on the floors without shoes on. Every glass, plate, and silverware had to be run thru the dishwasher before use. Corners and behind doors were just dusty and dirty. Limited array of various size, color, and thickness of bath towels, some very worn and thin. Bring quarters and laundry soap if you have more than 1 or 2 people in your party because you will have to do laundry daily. Fortunately the laundry room is right outside the front door though.
