Our condo offers all of the comforts of home in a tropical paradise setting. You've traveled a long way for your Maui vacation, so who not make the most of it at this ideal South Maui location? Enjoy breathtaking sunsets and watch sea turtles frolic from your lanai. Take advantage of the excellent snorkeling on the reef directly in front of the condo, swim or boogie board on two of Maui's best beaches right next door, enjoy the heated oceanfront pool or just read under a palm tree on the lawn of the Royal Mauian's beautiful grounds. All of this can be yours should you decide to experience the ambiance of this lovely sixth floor condo. The stunning view is second to none, overlooking turtle cove and a turquoise ocean expanse!

The ROYAL MAUIAN is located in South Kihei on the drier, more sunny side of the island, in between Kamaole Beaches 1 and 2, two of Maui's best beaches, and is just minutes away from the championship golf, tennis and upscale dining and shopping areas of Wailea. There's also excellent shopping and a wide variety of restaurants available right across the street. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, with plenty of lounge chairs and a crystal clear swimming pool overlooking the ocean that's great for kids and adults alike. Another unique feature of the Royal Mauian is the rooftop garden that comes equipped with several Weber gas BBQ grills, a kitchen/serving area and plenty of tables for that special sunset dinner while enjoying the 360 degree view that takes in views of Lanai, Molokini and Mount Haleakala.

The two bedroom, two bath condo has a very comfortable king-size bed in the master bedroom, which overlooks the ocean. The second bedroom has extra-long twin beds that are convertible to a king size. All rooms have an overhead fans and cable TV, with a wall-mounted flat screen HDTV in the living room, along with DVD/VCR and CD/IPod dock. Free wireless internet, private telephone (incoming calls and 800 calls are free) and washer/dryer round out the amenities, which also include a well-equipped kitchen with new appliances. Please go to our HOA website at royalmauian.org for additional information and pictures of the Royal Mauian. Please note: THIS UNIT DOES NOT HAVE A/C. The building was originally designed to allow the ocean front trade winds to naturally cool the units. In addition, we have ceiling fans in each room to keep the air flow comfortable. If A/C is a must for your stay, our condo may not be for you.

This condo was absolutely wonderful, and everything we hoped for. The views from the lanai were perfect, whether enjoying breakfast and coffee, watching the water activities, or the amazing sunsets. It really could not be beat. The condo was clean and well amenized with everything you need, including for snorkeling or the beach. (The reef off the lanai is the most perfect snorkel spot!) We were concerned about the condo not having A/C, but we kept the windows open and took advantage of the daily winds, and it was very comfortable and actually a delight! Communication was great, and although there was nothing we needed during our stay, I know it would have been provided, if asked. Our stay was truly perfect, and we can’t wait to come back! Mahalo! Perfect in every way

We stayed for one week and everything was just as it needed to be. First, the nuts and bolts....The owners were extremely accommodating, all appliances are updated and in working order, the kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, cutlery and dining needs, furniture was sensible and clean. Good water pressure in showers. OK, now for the actual vacation part: The location has everything a tourist needs within 2 blocks BUT you're not in some multi high rise condo mini city, you have some endemic space at this location. The experience here puts you in a relaxed environment yet your still close enough to any action you seek. Walk right out the elevator and go into the ocean to swim with sea turtles. Not having AC is OK! The breeze coming in is all you need just like everyone said.

We loved our stay, The view was outstanding. There were only a few rolls of TP so could have been a few more for 4 adults, When I made the reservation I missed that there was no Air conditioning. I usually always want that. It worked out fine, there was a nice breeze.

A really, really, really good time!

A very well maintain Condo. We love the place and have stayed here several times. It is well located on the Island with many things to do near by. No shortage of places to eat. We like to thank Karoline and Paul for the use of there place. We highly recomend it

Royal Mauian 616

This is the best location in Kihei for local shops and restaurants. The view from the lanai was spectacular. We also enjoyed the rooftop garden. Paul was a fantastic host, reaching out to confirm arrangements and to answer questions. Having 2 master suites was a bonus ensuring privacy when desired. For beachside activities there were tons of toys and equipment. .

Amazing location! Wonderful experience!

The owners are very easy to work with. The room comes with beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, and snorkeling gear. The condo is located near a great natural food store, lots of restaurants and its a very short walk to two different beaches! beachebeachesWewonderwonderful time.

Wow

Condo has everything you need to cook. Roof top get for sunset and grilling. Walk to beach. Great place to stay. No AC but most days there are trade winds. You can enjoy the sunset from the condo.

Best Experience!

This place was perfect for us! We left the windows open and kept the fans on and we were totally comfortable. I much preferred the ocean air to an AC unit anyway. Everything we needed was readily available whether it was for the beach or to prepare a meal. Proximity to beaches and restaurants was a real appeal and did not disappoint. Paul was great with his communication, checking in was easy, and we never had an issue with finding a parking space in the lot. I would rent this place again if ever given the opportunity!!

Fabulous Oceanfront Stay

What a fabulous week! Everything about this condo was perfect - they had all the beach equipment, plenty of comfortable seating and you can't beat the view. Would definitely book here again!

Great Location

Great location-we loved that we had easy walking distance to two beaches directly downstairs from the condo. The turtles were so active and we saw turtles from the lanai and from the beach every single day of our 7 night stay! Pros: The amount of gear that was available in the room! Wish we'd checked the closet before renting snorkel gear, because they had it! The boogie boards and chairs were great to have and we used them daily. Loved having the laundry in the room as well, and made for a great trip home with mostly clean clothes. Spices in the cabinet were so nice to have as well as all dishes/ziplocks/tupperware for packing lunches for the day. It all made for so much convenience! Cons: the condo as a whole is definitely dated. We were warned about the lack of AC but it definitely got hot a few nights. We knew going in, but I think because we all run hot, we probably wouldn't stay here again just because of this, especially in June. Everything else was lovely, and the owners did a great job of supplying fans, and we had the trade winds come in, but coming from Oregon, we like to sleep cold, and that was on us for not going with an AC unit. Overall, a wonderful holiday, and watching my son's face the first time he saw turtles from the lanai, or sitting together watching the sunset each night, I am so grateful for our time in Kihei!

Excellent location! Great hosts!

We loved the location of this condo. The snorkeling was great right behind the resort. The nearby beach was clean and not crowded. The condo had a great view and a lovely patio to enjoy those views. It was well-stocked with snorkel gear, beach chairs, sun umbrellas, and boogie boards. The host was fantastic at communicating and making sure our needs were met. Would absolutely rent from this host again! As noted in the listing, the condo does NOT have air conditioning. Several reviews said that they did fine without the AC by utilizing all the ceiling fans and opening windows, so we figured that would be fine. That worked well for us during the day, but we found it was a little too warm for our comfort when sleeping. I think we just really prefer a cooler sleeping environment. It was 80 degrees in the day and 70 degrees at night. Just providing that context for others to make a judgment on if they think they will need AC for sleeping comfort or not. But the condo itself was clean and in a superb location! Highly recommend if you are okay without AC.

A wonderful vacation.

Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed Pauls condo. With our long stay we enjoyed just staying in the condo and relaxing. There is lots to do near by and many excellent placrs to eat. The condo is very clean and well maintained. We will come back for sure.

Amazing location!

We've been lucky to stay in Maui many times with our kids, and this place was by far the best! I cannot say enough how great this location is. The ocean view really could not be any better, and while it would be good from any unit in this building I think this would have to be the best one. Sunsets from the lanai are a real treat, or from the rooftop patio where there are 4 Weber bbq's and lots of seating. The beach is super close with Kamaole I / Charlie Young just steps away, and there are tons of great places to eat just across the street or a short walk away. And of all the places we've stayed in Maui, Kihei is a really convenient launch point to reach other places on the island like heading up-country, travelling to Hana, visiting the shops in Wailea or going to the beaches in Kaanapali. The unit itself was also very clean, the amenities in the kitchen were well stocked, and it was such a treat to hear the ocean from the master bedroom every night. I miss that so much. Paul has a very special place here, that we hope to stay at again in the future. He was terrific to deal with, and made things very easy for us. Would highly recommend this place.

Perfect for a Maui vacation!

We had a great time staying at this condo--the owner had prepared and thought of pretty much everything that would be needed to arrive and immediately start enjoying Maui and the ocean. The condo is centrally located in South Maui and everything you might need is close by. We would highly recommend this property!

Perfect Maui Vacation

This was our third time staying at this unit of the Royal Mauian. Please see my past reviews for more details. Overall the Condo is excellent and is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. It has been nicely upgraded and had everything we needed. The location of the complex is amazing with wonderful ocean views and a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Communication with the owner is always very prompt and helpful.

Comfortable condo in a great location!

We loved our time at this beautiful condo. We arrived the day of the fires and the host was concerned and willing to help out anyway he could. We appreciated that SO much! We still stayed and had a beautiful time. Our only complaint is there is no air conditioning during a hot time but the breeze helped by keeping the windows open. I still give this place a 5 star do to the accommodations and amazing care and service of the host. Would stay again!

Great family vacation!

We had such a great time and loved being able to walk out the door to several beaches with two kids ages 5 and 9, as well as across the street to browse souvenirs, get shave ice, and take out food. The condo was easy to get to from the airport just 25 min drive, as well as a good jumping off point for other day excursions. Really comfortable place to stay with an amazing view, we loved watching the sea turtles from the lanai balcony (don't need binoculars or anything else to see then) and then snorkeling off of Kam I and Kam II and seeing some up close, too!! Watching sunsets from the beaches and evening swimming were daily activities for us. The pool was never crowded and kept really clean. Access to restricted clean bathrooms from just outside the building was really nice when we were at the pool or even came back for a minute from Kam I and II.

A priceless location and view!

The view from this condo was incredible! We saw turtles every day from the lanai. The location was perfect and we had the best snorkeling every morning right off the beach. The condo was well stocked with beach gear. Had plenty of beach chairs, snorkel equipment and nice boogie boards that our kids thoroughly enjoyed! The condo itself was a little dated but well taken care of and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed having the windows and patio doors open and the afternoon breeze helped keep the condos cool. Paul was extremely communicative and quick to respond. We had the best trip and can’t wait to come back!
