"Well, I enjoyed my whole stay. Our room was clean, all linens were clean, the room was perfect. My back was not doing well at all. When I approached the front desk I was huffing and puffing even with my cane. The gentleman that was at the front desk took my info. He was smiley and soft spoken. I asked where to go for dinner. "We are local, but needed a place to stay while our house was having some work done. We were so excited to see The Overlook was open, and I'm even more excited that we booked! They're still finishing the property so not all rooms are available, but I can't wait to visit when they're all done! Beautiful rooms, kind and flexible owners - a must-stay if you're in Saugerties! The luxurious bathrooms are a huge bonus!"
"Pretty new hotel in excellent condition. I had a studio with a nice kitchen, sitting area, and king sized bed. Nice sized bathroom, with a walk in shower (with excellent water pressure.) Very quiet room.
The area has many shopping centers. My room looked on the back and side of a Target, and I think this added to the quiet at night.
Excellent front desk staff. Very good laundry room with 4 washers and 6 dryers. Each $2.50 in quarters, but front desk staff can give you change.

"We enjoyed the convenience and walkability. Downtown Woodstock is about a 10 to 15 minute easy walk to shops and eateries. We stayed in the King Suite, a 2nd floor lodging that was clean, spacious and included pretty much all you need for a stay (games, books, kitchenette, toaster oven, pots, pans, hair dryer, mini fridge, plenty of blankets and towels). We had quick responses from the Ipad concierge and website chat for any questions. Thanks for a relaxing stay! "

"Very unique property centrally located to explore the Catskills area. Kingston is a nice little town with a lot of great restaurants. You can hike in the adjacent state park along the Hudson from the property or hike in the Catskills 30 minutes out. Quiet relaxing property. "
