"So nice to see toilet lid on the ground behind the toilet, the toilet that did not flush was wonderful, broken tiles on outside of tub were a great part of bathroom, tub from Aincent rome, light imfixture in room was nice but a bulb in it would have been nicer, broken tv,no remote wonderful . Restaurant just as nice,very dark...which was good so you did not see how old run down and dirty it was. The mutton i ordered was just empty ones and scraps of meat. Funny part it only took 45 minutes...
"Trip was great, so was the stay. What could have been better is ensuring rooms the construction is fenced off and not appearing at the rooms, and clearing off rubbish at the pathway on your way to the rooms ie where the rump is, on the left was full of broken items, bags of charcoal, old beer bottles, etc. Not a good sight for a customer yet its along the way to the rooms"
"The Izaak Walton is just an amazing hotel and a great place to stay you get a very warm welcoming from the front desk staff and all the other hotel staff members too, they all make you feel at home too, the rooms are excellent very clean and spacious great WiFi service too, and the beds are so comfortable. "I primarily chose the hotel for its location near the Grace Bible Church where I was participating in a conference. The grounds and room were clean and well-maintained. Good 24-hour security. There are steps as the property is on a hill. Not many guests, but breakfast was always on time and I could go to the dining room as needed. Convenient, clean and secure."
