"We stayed in one of the Mountain View Deluxe cabins. The view was amazing! There was a seating area out on the porch that overlooked the valley and mountains. It was so tranquil sitting out there drinking our coffee in the morning! The king-sized bed was very comfortable, and the decorations were very cute. The room had a quality AC unit, a mini fridge, and a microwave. We loved exploring the trail and seeing the deer and all the birds flying around. They have a Rec Hall and grills you can use...

"I needed a quiet space to escape to for Memorial Day away from all the hustle and bustle of sales and celebrations, and this place definitely delivered. My wife and I have visited the past two years and plan to make it a yearly destination."

"The staff was fantastic and soo friendly! Our son came home saying he made new friends because they were all so kind. The food was great and the hospitality of the family who had their reunion to make my Mom's birthday special was something we'll cherish for a long time! We had the best time and hope to come back soon! "

"The host was super attentive and answered all of my questions. The entire cabin was clean and tidy. The kitchen was great and allowed me to cook full meals. The view of the lake was a lovely especially while sitting in rocking chairs. I would definitely stay here again. "

"No this wasn't a great experience, we had to find the office and locate our keys in the cabin, which was fine. Next we get to our cabin, only one bed, there were two of us both men, the picture showed a loft with a bed above another, we tried to order pizza but they were already closed. Also thought it was odd that there was no TV in the room I understand this is glamping but I still expected more than a small mini fridge and a single queen size bed, one end table and some coat hangers"

"Absolutely by far the best decision we ever made was to book this cabin. Cabin was clean, hosts met me and showed me around and gave me fresh free range eggs for breakfast. I spent the majority of my time sitting in the rocking chair on the front porch with my dog and enjoying nature and the wildlife. I was sad to have to come home! If traveling the the Mountain Home/Kerrville area, Cowboy's and Angels Retreat is a must stay!"
